TH Parageusia 5 Release?

I tried looking this up on Tired Hands website before asking but my tablet is working like shit today.

What time does the release start compared to what time the actual Fermentaria opens for normal business? Thinking about having the wife drop me off for a few hours while she takes my daughter over to the zoo.

Yeah, It sounds like if you just show up Between 12:00-1:00 you should be able to grab a bottle at 1pp.
The hours in line doesn't seem to be needed for this release.

 

I mean I don't think you would have to wait at all for this one if you showed up at around 2:00. Unless it is an incredibly small batch, even if people bring mules, it isn't going to sell out at that time. If you want to be safe, you can show up at 12 and wait in line. That would probably only have you waiting in the moving line, which wouldn't be too bad IMO. Clearly, take this all with a grain of salt, it is the internet, and anything can happen with tired hands, but the last para release should be a pretty good indicator of this one I hope.

Is that more or less than 4 which did not sell through.

 

I believe Para4 was a 400 bottle release.

 

It was on Instagram. Jean posted a very long, detailed description of this beer. The Pretty Things guy made a short comment like, "Seriously?"

I went to his Instagram account and he had posted a photo of the beer description and then launched into a long rambling post about Jean B. basically saying how he was full of himself and and should show more respect for the other brewers whose shoulders he's standing on to be where he is etc etc etc.

Basically he was saying Jean B is a smug jerk who thinks he's doing something "special and new" and has no respect for other brewers.

I went back to re-read it the next morning and he had deleted his post.

 

I have always wondered about the whole community thing and whether the competitive nature of the biz, egos involved, etc. present a different reality. Some of these guys are great, some seem like total a-holes thinking you are privileged to drink their creations. Very interesting dynamics here.

 

some brew beer some blow smoke..some do both.

If tired hands bottled and distributed their beer I would imagine it would be of the same price/quality of pretty things beer.

Heading over in about 30 mins. This shouldn't be a stand in line for hours type of release.

 

Looks like a few hundred in line right now. Got here at 8:30, some of the guys Infront arrived at 6:30

 

Decent line. Just showed up and should be fine getting a bottle. I'll be surprised if it sells out.

Not sure. A good few are showing up and just jumping in line with friends which sucks. Seems a lot if people came to hold places in line.

 

It's legit. It's wrapped back up around Lancaster Ave. with about 20 on Lancaster

 

Hoping those who keep jumping in line ahead are just hanging out.

 

True. Line jumping is annoying but if you don't think it'll sell out, it may not matter.
