Worked well. Showed up at 10:30 or so and got tickets

 

323 tickets have been handed out as of 12:50, so that includes everyone in line at that time.

As I was reluctant to be there for the release today it went pretty damn smooth imo. Also big ups to a guy named George(if you're on here). I appreciated you grabbing a few chairs from your car so we weren't sitting on the floor for a few hours!

Cheers, I'll probably be back tomorrow for my last day. Bringing a few bottle logic IPAs and Beachwood IPAs.

First of all why would anyone get there at 6:30?! Five and a half hours of waiting? My buddy and I got there around 12:30 got a couple pours and then waited 10-15 minutes in the bottle line.

Secondly:

Yeah, anyone who waited more than 1-2hrs had nothing better to do. People showed up at 1:30 and got tickets..

All week I thought this was happening on Saturday, then I woke up this morning, saw this thread, and realized it was today. Nothing ever gets done on Sunday anyway so I said fuck it and drove up from DC. Got there at about 12:45, waited in line for 15 minutes, found out it was cash only, got directions to the "Mac machine", waited in line for another 15 minutes and got my bottle. Drank some great beers at both locations and had a great time, my only regret is that I couldn't get growler fills of that cherry saison, that beer was so damn good, I was ready to get 2 growlers of it.

 

Just missed this release. Probably should have went to the Fermentaria first, as opposed to the brew pub. Oh well!

Good beers and a cool brewery. Thought the Fermentaria was a lot better in terms of food and place to hang out.

 

Yeah, the fermentaria is brand new and much larger. The brew cafe is limited in size to what it can do. Both are cool spots.
