Anybody looking at * knows nothing about economics. Don't care how much money you have, in the end it's still ****.

I bought a 4-pack for $13.99 last year. My local retailer must be doing something wrong? :grimacing:

(Unless these are 4-packs of bombers? $12.50/bomber plus shipping via an internet outfit. Hmm...)

I never thought I'd see someone talking about how lucky we are to be charged $50 for a 4-pack of BCBS. You can have it!

Pilsner Urquell is owned by SABMiller, not AB-InBev.

I love hunting down hard to find beers as much as the next guy and will trade like a mofo but using sites like mycellar just take all the fun out of it. Its one thing to buy beer just to use for trade power, but getting beer just to resell it for a profit is lame. Its a free country, people can buy and sell what they want but just not a fan of it.

I'd drink it if someone gave it to me.

There's no sticker on my carton or my last remaining bottle, but I'm certain it was right around $40 for the 4pks. The store had a mountain of BCBS. I remember being shocked at how much they had and thinking, "Well, that's about $10 a bottle. Guess I'll get one for me and one for my buddy."

Just got a txt back from my buddy. He thought we paid about $30. Hell, I don't know. We've drank a lot of strong beer since then!

Personally, I steer clear of Goose Island, for the most part, due to InBev's aggressive tactics toward shops. I don't agree with their business practices, and choose not to take part in them. This is a shame, because GI makes some amazing stuff.

As for *....what a fucking joke...$499 for a Stone Vertical Epic set, of which only like 3 are any goddamn good? No thank you.

$150 for 2 bottles of Cantillon?

$360 for ONE bottle of Proximus?????

    It's only beer, people

here we get gi honker's, 312, ipa, + a seasonal. (just saw sophie, pepe nero, and matilda 4pks, which are $9.99) never had any of the vintage series, maybe for that price i should give them a try. have never seen any bcs. but for the prices i'm seeing in this post, wouldn't buy it anyway.

We were informed by our local liquor store that it was going to run somewhere between 40 and 50 dollars a four pack , so I will for sure be looking for some in trades , no way I'm paying that much for it

There is a store in MD that sold singles for $12 earlier this year. Then, I heard another place that had them for $7 or like $25 for a 12-pack. BCBS and variants were scarce here in the past, or at least from what I heard/saw.

Well BCBS isnt hard to come by... Even if it isnt in your state, its very easy to get via trade, under that price for a 4 pack $4$ trade point. thus why i said that is crazy. And it is.

Thats about right, it goes for about or less than KBS a bottle, roughly 3.99 for singles (usually one per person, depends on demand that day(still have cases of backwoods)), if you get a store to sell a 4pack, we did 14.99 i believe. so yeah, 14 would be a steal.

I would love to see the article that shows how some breweries are pressuring distributors to carry more of their competitors' beers.

What, you mean all the altrusitic craft brewers, who are only in this for the holiness, and shun profit as something unexpected and to be avoided, haven't used their hometown connections with local distributors to make sure their out of town craft competition gets more shelf space????!!!!! Shocking.

You act as though craft brewers would not, if they had the means, necessity, and opportunity, do the same as ABInBev, and this is mere foolishness. All businesses use the tools they have and can afford to succeed.

You act as though using the tools at your disposal to create and maintain a successful business is only a good thing, only "moral", if it favors small start up businesses.
