Living in New England I can get some good stuff Ghandi Bot and Heady Topper come to mind. Minneapolis crushes New England. Last night I had Lucid Black Ale and Odell IPA on tap with dinner. Now at MSP I had Darkness on tap and a Juice Lucy. Followed by a can of Furious I just brought on board. Oh and I have 16 cans of Abrasive in my luggage. You guys rock!!!!!!

Every region has its stand out beers, you did a good job of hitting a few of our's. MN is becoming quite the beer meca, especially if you consider Hudson is only 30 mins away from much of the Twin Cities. If you didnt try Indeed Daytripper, trade for a 6 pack. It is one of the TC's best beers, and widely available.

Glad to hear it! We love our town. Your beers from the New England area are amazing! Next time you come to town I'd love to hit you up for some Gandhi Bot :grinning:

You can get Surly on a plane?! That's all the excuse I need to fly more often.

No different than buying a Starbucks and bringing it onboard.

Thought you could only bring a small amount of liquids (few oz's) on board after 9/11

That is what you can bring through security. Once inside the terminal different story. I bought the beer inside the terminal.

What's this Lucid Black Ale you speak of?

Yeah sorry I realized I didn't share the correct name. It is Haywire Double Black American Ale. This year Lucid amped it up to 11.5% ABV (I guess years past it was in the 8.5% ABV range). Had on tap at Butcher and Boar on Hennepin with some Spicy Duck Sausage. Muy Bueno!!!

That would be indeed not lucid. I was wondering why lucid was included in our top beers. All is now right with the world.

Yeah, Indeed does Haywire as mentioned above, and it is an amazing beer. Indeed, Steel Toe and (as always) Surly kills it. I am waiting to see who the next great brewery will be (Hammerheart?).

While they don't bottle/can, in my mind Dangerous Man also has some fantastic brews from time to time.

I have a lot of MN Pride! Just like out music scene, I think our food and beer scene is highly underrated. Glad you enjoyed your time here!!

How could I forget my local watering hole. DM is walking distance from my house, and always my favorite stop.

I wasn't aware you could buy Surly to go at the airport! Good to know for my next trip.

Either was I. I knew Ike's has various Surly beers on tap, but didn't realize you could buy cans anywhere in the terminals. That is good to know!
