Thanksgiving Cellar KIF

    Yes, KIF. I may have invented a new acronym: Karma It Forward. I have had/do have many great things in my life that I am very thankful for. I was rearranging my beer cellar this weekend-out with the old and in with the new-and all of the old would not fit in my beer fridge. Not bragging, just a nerd that bought too much beer--sound familiar? I have 12 small bottles that I am going to send to the first person that can guess what our menu is for Thanksgiving.

    Here are the beers so you can decide if you are interested:

    Short's-Anniversary Ale 2012 New Holland-Black Tulip 2012 Dark Horse-Double Crooked Tree 2013
    Founders-Curmudgeon 2011 and 2/2013 Rubaeus 6/2013 Imperial Stout 1/2013
    Bell's-Java Stout 10/2012 Hell Hath No Fury 10/2011 Third Coast Old Ale 11/2010 Exp. Stout 2009
    All Michigan except for: DeStruise-Black Albert Batch 14 (best by 5/2015)

    Our Thanksgiving dinner is 99% the same every year and is very traditional, for the most part.
    There are only 9 items and I am going to give you 5 of them. You are Un-American if you don't have turkey, stuffing (not dressing-it's stuffed, not dressed!), mashed potatoes, gravy and cranberry sauce.
    You can have other foods but these are a must IMHO.

    Hints on the other 4:
    6: green with meat
    7: vegetable and fruit together
    8: breadish
    9: You are also Un-American if you don't have this dessert.

    Only one guess until tomorrow at Noon then I will open it up for more.

    Oh, and there is a number 10 of course: beer!

    7: butternut squash and apple casserole
    8: cornbread
    9: pumpkin pie

    Really not sure about 7!

    6: Salad (spinach perhaps?) with hot bacon dressing
    7: yam/sweet potato and apple casserole
    8: Crescent Rolls
    9: Apple Pie

    Wow, can't believe you guys got them all already! All have been guessed more than once.

    Ready for round 2? Go!

    Will probably keep this round open until 5 or 6 tonight and then give super hints to end this.
