I know the WWE has been really dumb lately, but a Royal Rumble without Ziggler & Ryback is beyond stupid even for them. They'll find their way back in time in my opinion. Another potential #1 entrant "punishment" could be Daniel Bryan. If that's the case, then I'll just sit back and watch the boxes head my way. Haha!

Agreed. #1 punishment spots are almost a guarantee to be the longest lasting. Either as a wire to wire winner, or robbed at the last second dis-heartener.

I could see them giving the 3 guys their jobs back and somehow making Ziggler the #1 entrant and give him an hour to go off.

I could also see them doing a 3v3 match with those guys vs j&j security and a returning great Khali. Because they dont understand their own product at all and God damn it why do I still like wrestling?!?

Remembers that Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are about to feud.

Oh yeah. Because it's the best.

Ziggler was in that position only two years ago. So hopefully they don't repeat that story.

I think the only real American you'll get in this Rumble is Jack Swager.

Hey now, would WWE recycle a storyline? Hmm, let's see. The majority of Cena's career? Check. Bryan vs Kane. Check. Evolution. Check.

They pretty much live off recycled storylines. Which is why I really wish they'd have Flair be the JJ Dillon of a reformed Four Horsemen.

In terms of a new stable though, maybe a European takeover type thing would work with BNB, Sheamus, Rusev, and Balor. You could even have William Regal as the mouthpiece if you wanted.

I'm a sucker for stables. I really think you have to have them in pro wrestling. That's why The Authority doesn't work for me. It's not a stable. It's just a couple random people that are supposedly doing what is best for business, but that doesn't make sense because then Cena would be their guy as he's a top seller. You also wouldn't "fire" top workers. It's just so dumb.

Looking back #14 is a pretty dreadful number. No winners, and featuring the likes of The Masterpiece Chris Masters, "Don't Hinder" Jinder Mahal, One Half of J & J Security Joey Mercury from his MnM days, and Orlando Jordan. It was good for a surprise entrant here and there.

I would hate for a Reigns Lesnar at Wrestlemania if Lesnar indeed will not resign. That match will get shit on. I think I would enjoy Rollins coming out of Rumble as champ the most. Maybe find a way to have a three way Shield match for the title at Mania. Then put Bryan vs Lesnar in Lesnar's last match and have Bryan go over. Then you could have Cena Rusev, HHH Sting, and Taker Bray if Taker is back. I love Ziggler but I see no way they give him anything great to do at Mania, too many part timers taking top spots. He'll probably be in the Battle Royal or fighting for the IC title for the thousandth time.

Ziggler vs Barrett for the IC strap in some sort of gimmick match would be one of those great matches that aren't near top billing but absolutely lights the first hour of Mania on fire. Even though it'd be rehashed for the thousandth time, I bet you could get decent burn out of Usos vs Dust Brothers for the tag titles if you did it as a ladder match.

I will say that I give WWE credit for how they're selling the Rumble title match. I have no idea how that one will go and I have no idea what even makes sense. Lesnar has been so dominant and it would be really odd to have him be off that long to come back and lose. The Rollins factor is so odd because now he has a title shot but still has the briefcase. You'd think Cena gets the win then Rollins cashes in on him, but then Cena would break some record with a 2 minute title reign. Anyhow, I don't know what to make of it but I'm optimistic that it's entertaining. Somehow HHH gets involved and somehow Sting counters.

27th spot - most winners historically. :grinning:
    27th spot hasn't won in over a decade. :slight_frown:

Sure that match could be good but it sounds an awful lot like his ladder match with Luke Harper. Agree on Cena, that would be title # 16 which is Flair's number. Think they would make a big deal about that.

Nor loving number 2, but I guess it could be worse. A lot of first eliminated, but lately a lot of deep runs, but not deep enough.

I can always hope to get Vince Mahon here. He won it in 98? I guess Mysterio did too... Dumb.

My guess is that they will announce 20 of them and leave 10 spots open for big returns and surprises.

In totally unrelated news: Kevin Nash has been cleared of all charges and been reinstated as a wwe legend.

Wow they are going to announce the entire lineup?

Can we trade numbers after the draw?

FT: Chocolate Rain + #9 ISO: Roman Reigns
