Looked at the current list. Little to nothing that I would go for right now.

Fair enough. I was just there on Tuesday and they had Castlie Island, Grimm, and Singlecut. Must've gone quickly.

There have been some great suggestions for restaurants outside the city (Branch Line sounds awesome - I need to go there now!) but if I were you I would definitely head into town and then have dinner rather than vice versa.

You never know what kind of nonsense you'll encounter on the roads so heading in earlier is better, especially since there's no shortage of places to go within walking distance or a short ride on the subway.

One other option I didn't see mentioned is the Boston Beer Works which is right across from the park. They have decent pub food and have recently upped their game on their beer (they only offer their own brews). It'll be a shit show obviously but if you got there early you'd be fine. Publick House is much better but it's worth considering if you want to stay within walking distance of the park.

Can we get some play by play updates on how the day goes today?

Just in case you missed it @Abbbp, people are expecting Pearl Jam on at 7:30 as most (not McCartney) recent Fenway concerts have had hard stop at 10:30, and to also 30-40 minutes to get through security at Fenway. Enjoy the show.

Trillium just opened. Should be a very small line today.

For those going to @PearlJam at #Fenway, I'm told they go onstage at 6:30pm. No opening band. Two sets w/ intermission. You're welcome.

I love Castle Island and encourage anyone without time limits to hit them when they go to Trillium-Canton. But they don't open until 3 on Thurs/Fri, he already wants to be in Waltham by then.

Wegmans in Westwood has a pretty good beer selection, and it's 5 minutes from Trillium-Canton. They'll have some Castle Island

Lots of good northeast brews on tap - Jacks Abby, Medusa, Stoneface IPA (top-rated NH beer) - with a solid list on deck. Where is @Abbbp?!?

I have no doubt. I only ask b/c he said he'd be posting the play by play this afternoon. I'm guessing they are crushing some Trillium at the hotel and en route to Publick House shortly.

We went to Canton, traffic is a bitch here, essentially no line and we bought way too much beer and kept getting shitty.

They actually didn't come out until 7:45ish, played 30+ songs, we parked a couple alleys over, slight line to get in but we were so havin' a good time it didn't matter. An absolutely legendary band at a legendary venue, unreal seats, tremendous set. One of the favorite lines we overheard from last night that me and my group got hung up on was:

Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb. Performed by Pearl Jam. At Fenway. Fuck your couch man.

Special props to an awesome awesome BA who's name I forgot who's handle I forgot that heard our story at Trillium and just gave us a BA Jack's Abbey because he wanted to prove northeasterners are as nice as southerners.

    @Jbrews nailed it.

So after Trill we made it to Publick drank way to much beer and bourbon and food there, wow the list, and were parked at Fenway by 6:30ish. The worst lines in the city anywhere were at Fenway, getting merch or hell even a beer there was brutal. However, our seats were incredible, and they were selling beer (& water thank god)- Had A Monster Ipa at Fenway - bucket list

Special props to another incredible BA who out of the goodness of his heart dropped off Julius and Sap and lights On at our hotel because we couldn't check in before the show- so we then had post show brews at the hotel, but finding a Taco Bell in this city is impossible.

And then this morning we drove out to Treehouse because they had a bunch of fills and cans still left. So now we have about 4+ cases, are driving up to Vermont to the cabin in Stowe, swimming at Warren Falls, gonna hit up the Warren Store, The Mad Taco, The Alchemist, Hill farmstead and Parker pie today

I can't thank ya'll enough because you guys nailed it. All the information, the insight really molded our trip to what it was- awesome. We really wouldn't have had the time we had without ya'll's assistance. And that was just day 1
