The Alchemist (December 2016)

Hey I'm heading up tomorrow and heard rumblings that el jefe may still be available, having said that I looked at their web site and saw that they list the limited edition beer as being out. Does anyone who has been up there this week know if that means that it simply sold out for today's allocation or that el jefe sold out earlier this week for good? Thanks for any input

Thanks for feedback in this thread! Got my mixed case and Spiegelau glass with no prob today. Snowboarding was another story...

 

Hopefully you didnt injure yourself snowboarding. Looks like Stowe had some good snow today. Great beer with some solid snowfall is tough to beat!

 

No injury, just couldn't even get near the mountain. Ive never seen a ski resort so busy. Traffic was backed up in every direction and passed the Alchemist. I ended up just bailing on the whole thing. It was hard to even get out of Stowe at that point. Then, I stopped at Hunger Mountain and they were closed due to a water problem. Things were not going well. But, on the way home, I saw that there were no lines at TH for Very Green...so all is well.
