Black back used to be the only (of the 3) that had lunch open. Check that out.

 

Blue Stone is open for lunch.

 

Mad Taco in Waitsfield or Montpelier is a pretty great option. The Waitsfield location usually has a great draft list if you don't mind driving out there.

 

Our brewery opens for lunch everyday at 11:30, but yes, the restaurant opens at 4 Tuesday through Thursday.

How's the line so far today?

 

Lunch= docs pond,

 

Doc Ponds only does lunch Friday through Monday. That would be the place I would recommend going on those days.

 

Looks like Crusher and Heady are already sold out for the day.

 

crusher and heady already listed as sold out...at 2 pm. yikes, unlikely I will even attempt to visit in the summer unless things change dramatically...

 

I was there on Saturday, showed up at 10:00, parked down the street, was in line by 10:15 and was out by 11.

 

Crusher and Heady sold out. Four 4-packs of Focal per person for the rest of the day.

 

Focal gone too, by 2:30 pm.

 

Granted, it's a holiday week, and the brewery just opened so the hype is still there, but if they've only allotted enough beer that they sell out by 2-2:30 on a weekday, they should expect long lines (a la Tree House) prior to open. And we all know how those crowds are loved by the neighbors in Monson.

 

While I agree certain days you might see this(late week) Being open 5 days a week there is no way there can be big lines every day of the week. I just don't see there being enough people in Northern Vermont on a daily basis to drive that kind of traction. In addition the ability to get it every day should, in theory break up what could be TH style lines as people who make one off trips can do it almost any day. I think your most traffic will end up being Friday-Monday(long weekends for Monday's here and there) PLUS there is distribution

 

Currently not open Sunday or Monday so that boxes you into Friday - Saturday.

Agree with there being far less population density and this is likely an initial rush ... but time will tell.
