The Alchemist (November 2016)

I intended on getting there to grab a bottle (and maybe some focal banger) after my visit to HF today, but considering the ridiculous bottle and even growler list today at HF, I didn't have the disposable income to make it to Alchemist.

 

Ok, heading up Friday. Any reason to get there before opening or am I better off showing up at opening or a little after? Looking to minimize waiting time for my wife who is not thrilled to stand in beer lines. Thanks!

 

I haven't been there at opening in a while, but there are no lines whatsoever in the early afternoon.

 

Early afternoon seems perfect this time of year (before crowded ski season). Zero line the last few times I went which was between 1 and 2pm. Full allotment was available each time too.

 

I, too, am going up on Friday. Seems like we are between seasons but will the Veterans day holiday bring the crowds and deplete their stock?

I will be in town visiting friends so Im not too concerned but it should be a decent test as I see this time of year as the best time to stock up.

 

Do full allotments last all day or do they sell out each day? I'm hoping to be there around 5:30 today.

 

Been following the website all week since I'll be there either Friday or Saturday. Haven't seen anything get updated as sold out this week. Though I could be wrong/missed it. Seems like it's been a fairly quiet week up there thus far. Hoping it continues. Good luck.

 

I'll be driving down from Montreal Saturday. Hoping PM and Heady last until noon-1ish.

 

Was in line a bit before open yesterday. Guy in front of me only wanted his Petit Mutant bottle, was more than happy to walk out of there before 11 with 4 cases, 1 petit mutant and be on my way to Hill Farmstead

 

This was incorrect. And I was unable to find out when it actually will come out, other than soon...

 

This week another employee told me this upcoming week or the next. Said it would be similar to the last batch.

 

My boss's wife was up there this weekend, and he just walked into the office with a Heady, Focal, Crusher and the Petit Mutant bottle for me.

I love my job.

For those not doing all the clicking through ... available for 2 weeks replacing Crusher. Crusher returns Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

 

Looks like someone posted that Petite Mutant is still available as if today. Can anyone else confirm? And how's beelzebub tasting?

 

I'm going to be in the area next Tuesday (before Thanksgiving) lunchtime-ish; do you guys think it will be pretty busy?

 

Just wanted to chime in briefly with some praise:

Wife and I drove in from Montreal on Saturday. We got there around 2:30PM, waited in line for 30 and were out the door with our spoils. Everyone was super nice and the facility was spotless. Loved the way the hops smack you right as you walk in. We really lucked out, we each got a bottle of petit mutant but were likely around #375-76 for the day.

Help that our bed and breakfast was less than a half-mile away too! We miss Stowe already!

 

I don't think it will be busy...Stowe is still usually pretty dead over Thanksgiving and the mountain isn't opening until the 23rd.

 

Are there still lines each day ?

 

excited for tomorrow, hoping to get there at open (for scheduling the rest of my day purposes), I heard murmurings that there may still be petit mutant bottles left? can anyone comment on this based on a trip today? regardless, excited for beelzebub
