Some DoucheCanoes are already trying to razzle for $300+ ... I hope the razzles fill and there is some sort of calamity that makes AC cancel the release.

Been saying for well over a year AC needs to start some sort of Bottle Club instead of doing these releases which are dangerous and horribly disruptive to the neighboring businesses and the residential neighborhood right behind them..instead they continually add more #warnings on things not to do before every bottle release...I know all breweries love these hyped bottle releases but being a good neighbor and keeping your customers safe has to become a priority at some point before a real tragedy occurs IMO

Seriously I've seen a few people drunk off their asses from bottle sharing stumble into the road. It's a matter of time until someone gets hurt.

We were just down again from Ohio last Friday. Had a great time as always, grab a couple crowlers. With that said, it seems to me AC needs to do more in the way of trying to move out of that area vs changing policies while there. For a place with so much #hype, there's just no possible way they can exist peacefully in that residential area IMO.

AC will have to change their bottle release strategy (either go the bottle club route, or something). The neighborhood is so compacted, and AC is causing a pretty big disruption all around them. They'll make a change, or the city/neighborhood will make one for them.

The issue really is not the actual lines and bottle releases its the line share.
AC could very easily tell people not more drinking in line and that would eliminate the drunk factor and may even make some people show up later. Having a line around the block for a few hours on a random Saturday is not going to cause the city to come down on them.

A smart tow truck operator would approach the surrounding business and start yanking cars out of there.

Or...this is a big one. They just tell people to start the line where it is now and go down the alley into North...it wouldn't be on Florida ave at all.

That's not a bad idea, although the line would then circle back around to Florida Ave. I arrived just before 9 for each of the last two releases and was over half way down the alley. If you reverse it, the end of the line ends up going down Florida Avenue, rather than the start of the line.

Although most of the bottle shares are at the start of the line. The people arriving at the end are just there for the release. So while you'd have people on Florida Avenue, you wouldn't have people drinking on the sidewalks next to Florida Avenue.

I'm saying have the line go down the alley, the front door of AC faces east, if the line goes east for the parking spots then directly north down the alley, then east down north, it wouldn't touch florida ave at all.

don't think they'll Have to go bottle club at all. ....or something seems more likely

the idea suggested above is a great solution.

I was also thinking they could just go down the sidewalk of Fern, since there is a sidewalk there, and I don't think there is one on North. But they seem to not want anyone on Fern, so I doubt they'd do that.

Speaking of which, why do they say you can't park on Fern, but it's alright to park on any other street?

I mean, you guys are suggesting that they have a line of people that are potentially drinking milling around in front of people's homes. Think of how kindly you'd take to that in your neighborhood.
