They only got regular the 3rd time. We got there at 720 and PB ran out a few people in front of us the second go round. . If they got a 3rd allotment of PB then they were dirty ass, scummy, POS line cutters.

Yeah I call total BS on three times. I was cut off for round two by about 50 people.

^^^ We were about 90th in line. The glasses were gone by the time it was our turn, we did line up again and get two more of the regular Popinski (second shot at bottles of PBM was long gone) but lining up for a 3rd round didn't happen for anyone unless you line jumped.

This aligns with my experience. I was bummed I missed the glass. Had to pay $20 in the parking lot to some college kid.

He probably re-lined a third time for the regular and didn’t get the PBM, I must’ve misheard him. He was there bright and early and didn’t cut

I had Angry Chair for the first time this past Saturday in Richmond, VA at the Covenant Beer Festival. Good Lord, why did I just learn about them?

Moon Butter and Imperial German Chocolate Cupcake Stout. The Imperial Stout was ridiculous how good it was. I'm not usually a "sweet" stout kind of guy but this was amazingly smooth and delicious. Just crazy how good it was.

Tickets for anniversary party on sale starting tomorrow at noon. Buddy of mine who’s there said the line started already with a number of hearty souls who closed AC at midnight and who account for about half the allotment by his estimate.

It will be at full allotment I'm sure before noon comes around.

Last year the full allotment of people were there before ac closed

The lack of better ways to spend their time that some people seem to have is astonishing to me.

Yeah....You're on beer advocate and surprised by the way people choose to spend their time?

You genuinely have to enjoy standing out in a parking lot all night drinking and napping in your car. I’ve done it and it’s just not enjoyable. The bottles have value still but not to justify waiting for 10+ hours. Especially Since ill going out on a limb and say 95% of the people in line have tried every beer that will be on tap at the anniversary party. To each their own though!

That's what I really don't get. That shit is on tap surprisingly frequently compared to the rare beers at other breweries.

come on...you guys fully know a chunk of the people in that line are there for ze max profitz on the bottle. Unfortunate for sure but it's the reality.

Last year there were multiple people who bought tickets to multiple sessions just to maximize the bottle count...only to have AC sell the bottle the very next week lol

Oh absolutely, and I suppose I could see it last year because some of those bottles used to go in the $400 range but they’ve definetly come down BIG time. It’s a huge gamble to assume the bottle you’re gonna get at this thing is somehow going to be worth even half of that now.. just don’t see it worth that wait with how they’ve been pumping out these bottle releases. I’ve waited in line overnight for stuff before but i was also young and it seemed cool to do at the time. Almost all of the people in these lines are like 30+ Lol.

Really not knocking the people, i get it, I’ve been there and had the desire but it’s definetly interesting knowing that if you take the bottle out of the equation, nobody is lining up for this thing overnight at closing time or really even hours early. I honestly think people just have FOMO. Fear that it ends up being like the best beer ever or skyrockets in value and they didn’t get a bottle of it to brag about

Yeah. Those flippers take that risk . Load up the line with mules to try to gain that profit

Ruins it for the rest. Take those away..... It's probably a couple hour wait before they open
