Someone school me on this spot. Their beers sound very good. It's on my list to check out next month after hitting Veil. Veil, Mekong and this spot within ten minutes of each other is going to make for a damn good beer drinking day.
The Answer is the best place in Richmond...IMO, they are open later than the other breweries and serve great food. The Berliner/sours are the best I have had, IPAs good as any others in the area and stouts are fantastic....just remember Andall....I visited twice earlier in the month, I drove up from FL
I had Megablast today. It was an incredibly smooth triple IPA. If you make it over there this weekend give it a whirl.
Definitely a "do not miss" spot when you visit. Mekong and The Answer are in the same building and owned by the same person (An Bui). Just a few miles away from The Veil. Mekong is in the front facing Broad St. and The Answer's entrance is right around back. If you love Vietnamese food then Mekong is going to be great (their Pho is killer!) on top of their nearly 50 taps including Andalls (their own version of the DFH Randall). World Class all the way. The Answer shows up as one of the overall top rated (currently #13) breweries by those on Untappd. They have their own beers but also lots of Guest Taps. You can see their taplist on Untappd. Mekong has complete different taps and Andalls by design. Nearly 100 between both spots. You will not be disappointed! The Answer does not can/bottle yet but you can get Crowlers as well as they will fill swing top 32oz and 64oz Growlers. if you happen to be coming up on a Tuesday for a Veil can release I would recommend hitting Mekong first to grab lunch since they open at 11am. Head over to Veil to get in line if that's your thing and then end it off back at The Answer since they stay open late. And as @Doug6322 said, ANDALL! ANDALL! ANDALL!
just read about this place the other day...will be passing through VA near Memorial Day, plan on making a pit stop here
They did a Collab with Cycle In St Pete called TRUST.... OMFG!! one of the best IPA's I have ever had.
