SN Pale is always a good go-to. I also like to pick up sixers or bombers of any year-round IPAs.

Sounds like Leinenkugal Summer Shandy might be right up her alley.

None, I don't give people craft unless they like craft so they'll drink the good more extreme stuff I have. If I need a beer on hand I'll just have Yuengling because in eastern PA it's like BMC as far as availability do everyone knows it and usually likes it more than BMC.

Surprised nobody has mentioned this fine beer:

    Brooklyn Lager.

I've given this to many people with little previous experience in craft beer, and haven't gotten a bad response yet. A terrific, balanced, easy drinking beer.

Three reasonable beers I'd be happy to see in my fridge at all times:

    - Great Lakes Eliot Ness
    - Green Flash WCIPA
    - Sierra Nevada Stout

However, freshness and availability dictates otherwise, and so the following are my real staples:

    - Victory Prima Pils
    - Lagunitas IPA
    - Sierra Nevada Stour

My family for the most part doesn't drink much of anything. All of my good friends drink the same type of stuff I do. I guess if I had 3 things in the fridge it would be:

Sierra Nevada Torpedo (EVERYONE I drink with loves this beer)
Founders Seasonals (Breakfast, Backwoods, Imperial, Double, etc) I almost always have one of these in the fridge.
Sam Adams Seasonal Mixed Pack. I also usually have beers from these in the fridge.

I know I kind of used a loop hole but these are probably the beers that are in my fridge most often. I am still in that variety binge stage so I usually just stuff 4-5 bombers in the fridge for when friends come over, almost always things I haven't tried. The three above would probably take up real estate the highest percent of the time.

I don't necessarily think of specific beers, I think of general styles to have on hand.... a crisp lager, a straight-forward but quality pale ale, simple IPA, brown ale, sessionable stout...stuff like that.

They know to BYOB at my house if they drop in. If its a party I will have some choices for people and wont have to dip into anything special.

    Cheers!

If people want to drink at my house, they can BYOB.
I love to share my beers, but I'm not going to pop something rare for someone like my mom (who drinks Coors Light.)

Whenever i have family over i always buy a 12 pack of Yuengling and 12 pack Sam's seasonal mix. That way if there's left over it's something i will at least not mind drinking.

On the other hand, my wife made me buy a 12 pack Corona Lite for a New Year's get togther (it was a Mexican food theme) and there are 6 still sitting in the frdge which will probably never get cosumed.

For when people come over, I like to have these options available:
    1) Homebrew Oktoberfest keg
    2) Working on a solid Munich Helles homebrew recipe to have in the keg all the time
    3) Usually a couple mix 12-packs and some BMC
