IMO, worth the money considering how easy they are to find year-round.

Bomb! Is good, but they some barrel aged stouts just as good or better. Branson & Pirate Bomb! come to mind. That Ozark BDCS is quite simply the best beer I've had from Arkansas & is shoulder to shoulder with any one I've tried from the top 250 IMHO

I am not a big fan of Event Horizon. I would rank Dark Age as my favorite NC stout, though it isn't bottled.

Hard to argue with California (FW Parabola), though I'd say that some of the Alesmith Speedway Stout variants or H24's Pugachev's Cobra would put up a helluva fight in a blind taste test.

GD's Yeti and its variants find far more favor in my beer cellar.

If KBBS is the best stout in Iowa...which it probably is and maybe anywhere for that matter then why not the voodoo one offs in pa? SMS has a much bigger footprint but that doesn't keep KBBS one of the hardest bottles to come by from getting the vote in Iowa? I agree without a doubt that the voodoo stouts are pa's finest.

Never had that, but I would take NOLA Irish Channel Stout, like the Abita, but the NOLA was a standout when I had it last

Sunday Morning Stout was a mess of a beer. I split a bottle with a friend a begrudgingly finished my half

I'm really into Henniker Brewing's the roast and Nepenthe ales makes a bourbon barrel aged version of the shire stout that's easily one of my top 5 nh beers.

California is tough for me, Parabola is Awesome but so is Speedway and Odin's Raven

Breakfast Exorcism. Wow!!! As for Good Morning I actually prefer Tree House's Double Shot. Both great beers though.

Creature Comforts See the Stars is tops in Georgia at 75th overall in the Top Beers list. Also much better than Wake n Bake (well, better than most other imperial stouts in general, really)

My favorite local stout wasn't listed so my state is listed "incorrectly". :stuck_out_tongue:

@kwakwhore Silent Night gets no love and it totally should. I can't wait to pick up a couple bottles this year.

They came close for WA. Got the brewer (Fremont) and the base (Dark Star) right. But the best stout in the state is the barrel aged version, colloquially known as KDS. Or whatever variant they make of it.

yeah blackout is great but most of Jackie O's stouts are superior. I'd go with Champion Ground for best
