This meal was so ridiculous!!! Enjoy with a ST 2XMAS or Pumking

    Ingrediants:

    Trader Joe's Butternut Squash Ravioli
    Chicken Apple Sausage
    Onion
    Granny Smith Apple (Peeled)
    Garlic Clove (mashed)
    Unsalted Chicken Broth
    Reisling or Pumpkin beer
    Pumpkin Pie spice
    Sea Salt
    Black Pepper
    Maple Syrup
    Honey
    Olive Oil
Flutter (fake butter) or real butter

    Directions:
Bring a pot of water to a boil... add salt and pie spice and turn down to a rolling boil.

Saute onion in 1/4 tsp of olive oil until translucent. Add sausage, garlic, black pepper, and a touch of pie spice. Stir frequently until sausage browns slightly... peel apple and add along with more pie spice. Cook and stir two minutes and add chicken stock, wine/beer, honey and pie spice. Let thicken over high heat. Add Pasta and cook as directed (3-5mins). Add Maple syrup and Flutter to sauce and shut off heat. Drain pasta, add to sauce and serve immediately with a ST 2XMAS, ST Pumking, Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin, DFH Punkin' or other desirable seasonal brew and a loaf of nutty, wonderful, crusty bread of your choice!

Could you taste it on the ravioli without adding the sauce? I'm sure it smells great in general.

Oh yeah, the ravioli sucks up the pie spice just like it does salted water for other pasta. My kids love when I put garlic powder and italian seasoning along with salt in the pasta water because they don't eat sauce, just butter, so it flavors it nicely.
