Anyone else try the SH Brewer's Cut? It's pretty dank.

Yeah, I really enjoyed it. It's a little more citrusy and a little less piny than the normal version, in my opinion.

Agreed. You know it's SH, but def amped up. I missed out on Marmalade, but had plenty of Tropical Slam. I like this variation a little better than that one..

Block 15 thread all the way on page 3?

Just wanted to say that I had a great time at thier release brunch yesterday. My first time going to the brunch. What a great way to do a release. No hassle, no lines. they've obviously figured out what their doing when it comes to this sort of thing.

All of the beers were excellent. My favororites were the Honey Faro (which was quite sweet but very unique) and the Hypnosis (cognac barrels really came through). Peche was fantastic, as always. And while I was a little underwhelmed with thier new IPA Powder to the People I still thought it was very good. I think my expectations for Block 15 hoppy beers have gotten a little out of hand.

Which of the two breweries is better to visit? Coming up from CA this week, going to stop on our way to Portland.

I personally think the original downtown brewpub spot typically has the better selection and better vibe. However, if you're driving up from California, why not do both? It's not exactly as if they're miles apart from one another. :-)

Thanks. Do they crowler at both?

I can confirm that Crowlers are available at the Tap Room. I picked up several on my last visit a few months ago.

As for their other locations, I think their website makes it pretty clear that they only fill crowlers at the Tap Room, and not the downtown brewpub:

"A 32 oz. Crowler is perfect for keeping that hop bomb fresh on the move—or if you're feeling generous, sharing one of Block 15's draft-only beers with a friend! Only available here at our Tap Room!"

Shrug. Probably couldn't hurt to give the restaurant a call.

This is my understanding as well (though they'll do growler fills of select beers at both locations I believe).

Ok cool. Thanks guys. Might stop at both but it looks like downtown definitely has more beer on tap.

Their new IPA, Perishable Produce, is zesty and fruity AF. It would be even more cravable if it were a touch drier. Still a nice citrusy beast, and I was happy to put away a couple crafty pints out at the Orenco Taphouse tonight.

Picked up a 4 pack of PP cans and also tried it on tap at BS the other day. Really tasty. One of the better offerings from B15 lately. Also really enjoyed the SH Southern Exposure last month. The SH variants never seem to disappoint.

Does anyone know if bottles of Autumn Farmhouse have come out, and if so, if they've hit Seattle yet?

Yes, they came out last Tuesday (the 3rd) and I would assume that the next time they get up to Seattle, you guys will get some. Distro goes up there every 4 weeks right now, and looking at Chuck's instagram, they were last there in late September, so I would guess in a couple weeks.

The version last year was quite good. Does it seem like the current vintage is similar to last year's version (if you recall), or have they changed up the recipe a bit?
