This is probably what happened. The cans do have little ink dots on the bottom that could have been a date line. I decided to drink one for science last night; seemed a little muted on the hops; but probably my mind playing subliminal tricks on me. I picked them up from Belmont station. I would imagine they Would respect the hops.

just cracked a Breakfast with Woodford last weekend and it was just as good as it was on tap. as for regular Super Neb, i havent bought any bottles mostly because I dont think its really all that great and there are better options available. if its flat, thats a definite no-go for me. Had a flat super neb 3-4 year ago and it was awful.

Same here and same reaction (drain poured it).

It's not my favorite BA stout, but there have been some years where I thought it was really good. I wouldn't mind getting a bottle, but if it's flat, then I have no interest.

Are bottles of Breakfast with Woodford available any place anymore? I've only ever had it on tap (at NWIPA last year I believe), and it was absolutely outstanding.

not sure. randomly had a business trip to corvallis on the monday after the release. there were plenty of bottles still available at the downtown pub which was weird (maybe they made more this year?). most years I have scavenged a bottle from Corvallis brewing supply who usually gets a few cases.

Agreed, it is outstanding. Much much much better than regular super neb IMO

Maybe I'll give them a call. Will be driving down to Eugene on Saturday and it would be easy enough to swing by (if they still have some available). Thanks.

id be surprised if it was still kicking around, as they released it about a month ago. but, maybe call the downtown pub and see if they have any tips

Definitely not available at this point at either Block 15 location (at least not when I was there two weekends ago for their anniversary party). Plenty of the regular Super Nebula and IHS, though I'm not sure if they've ran out of either of those by this point.

IHS hit Chucks today, should last a day or two. Hopefully.

Cracked a bottle of this year's Super Nebula yesterday. Fantastic carb and a really well-rounded body. Easily better than last year's version.

Related - IHS is as good as ever.

Thanks! Very glad to hear this. I've been wanting to grab a bottle (it's all over the place here in PDX), but have been hesitant, based on some of the comments I've gotten at a couple of different watering holes in town.

I'll have to grab one myself in a couple of days if I get the chance - for science

Perhaps a bottle will show up this Sunday at Arch Bridge (should you happen to happen on by). As mentioned above, there's plenty of it around here in PDX right now. :sunglasses:

Enjoyed my first Sticky Hands Tropical Slam at the 23rd Ave Bottle Shop last night. Crowlers and Growlers available if you're looking for some carry out.

I think this batch of Sticky Hands Tropical Slam is one of the best goddamn IPA's, even beers, I've had in my entire life

A bit of a stretch. But not by much. Good enough to ease the pain of missing out on other stuff.

I'm with you on this sentiment. Glad my local grocer pointed it out to me (as it was hidden behind the stack of regular Sticky Hands. Who does that shit?!).

    Cheers

Me and Mrs. Vurt cracked open our first can of Tropical Slam last night. It took a fair amount of restraint not to finish the whole damn 4-pack right then and there. A superb beer.
