I don't know Vurt. I'm drinking a glass at Tin Bucket right now. It's an impressive DIPA for sure, with a huge aroma and flavor profile of tropical fruit and dank weed (which I tend to love). But it just seems a bit sweet and boozy on the finish for me. Still a great beer and I'm enjoying my glass, but I'm not sure I'm quite as enamored as you guys are.

Granted, my palate may be a bit out of kilter... Just getting back from the Farmhouse event over at Saraveza.

For what it's worth (not much,) I preferred Tropical Slam from the can compared to on draft. And I'm also at TB following Saraveza.

I can't comment reliably. I've only had the canned version, and that has made a big difference this year.

Drinking my last can of Slam. It’s pretty great, but I’ve found most if not all SH variants to be exceptional. Glad they brought this one back as I had forgotten how much I like it. Wasn’t able to try it on tap this time around so not sure how it compares to canned.

In the last month, Tropical Slam, Wicked Fish, and now Animal Cookies!?

Block 15 has been killing it (as usual). I was pretty happy with Here Comes the Sunshine as well. Good timing.

Had never even heard about Animal Cookies until just now looking it up. That beer sounds delightful.

Has anybody had the Block 15 10th anniversary wild ale "Ripple" ?? I bought a bottle and it sounds pretty damn good:

    "RIPPLE
Blended Wild Ale Matured in Oak Barrels

An afternoon tasting through our wild cellars produced this 10 year anniversary blend. It reflects a decade of hard work and experimentation, featuring a variety of techniques that we’ve learned through the years—including a portion from the spontaneous fermentation program that showcases our unique house character. Ripple is blended to be an approachable and celebratory beer, featuring balanced acidity, nuanced wild character, and bottle conditioning with honey from Block 15’s beehives. 8% ABV"

I think if they were sending it to distro, it would have happened already. It was released for their 10th anniversary at the beginning of March.

If you are a Block 15 fan, they will bringing 34 different beers to Grapes and Growlers in East Vancouver this Thursday. This is less than a quarter mile from my house, which is going to be life saver.

I'm not sure, but it looks like Breakfast with Woodford is on tap right now at Beer O'clock. They have a listing for Super Nebula on their taplist, but in parentheses it says aged in Woodford barrels. I didn't hear about any SN aged in Woodford barrels separately, so am assuming this must be BWW?

Either way, I'm going to stop by there after work today, but if they have BWW on tap in addition to the current Bale Breaker line-up, I may take off from work early today. :sunglasses:

this year's Super Neb was done in Woodford Reserve barrels. so I would assume its just the regular version.

still, that taplist looks awesome. havent been there yet so I may go after golf!
