I really enjoyed this one too; has this really nice lemon gumdrop nose on it, ultra clean and bright. Almost wish I could get it in cans.

Anyone had the red, white and boom? I drove up to block 15 and picked up 2 four packs of it but didn't see it on tap until after i had ordered the anthem of the sun.. I'm about to open one after my glass gets a little freeze on:confused::sunglasses:

I've had a bit of Red White and BOOM! today, both on tap and from the can. The nose is mostly pine and papaya, with a green herbal note (thyme?). Carbonation is moderate, and the body feels a bit heavy. Flavor is dry, quite bready, with a mild sweetness and slight tanginess at the beginning. Bitterness starts out moderate but gains momentum through the middle and finishes with an impressive and satisfying grapefruit pith/herbal hop punch.

Doesn't Block 15 self distribute? Not sure you can order it...?

It's available at their locations in Corvallis. Not sure if they're distributing it or not. @distantmantra, yes, they self-distribute.

A complete review that you call "complicated " is better then no review and just saying its pretty good

Anyone know how long they plan on doing single releases instead of the quarter? I heard it was the new norm but I was curious if I was misinformed.

The first Saturday of each month we will release a hop forward canned offering and something from our barrel program. Saturday August 6th is Peach Punch (you in the eye) a cooperative beer with Great Notion and Cassidy a wild ale matured in sauterness barrels with flowers. These are at our Tap room with the hopes of enough stock that the bottles/cans are available for a week or so.

Brunch reservation style releases will happen 2-3 times a year for Figgy Pudding in November, Super Nebula in February, and possibly another date in late spring. During these releases our canned offering will be a Sticky Hands variation.

The best info is always through our newsletter, sign up found at the bottom of our web page.

Don't quote me on this, but I thought Jacob and Sebastian over at 16 tons mentioned that they were holding back a last keg for some special occasion.

Also, I'm pretty certain that I recall Nick from B15 mentioning that they would be making more of FH in the future... maybe as soon as August some time? I think that's what I recall hearing him say.

Yeah last time I was at 16 tons one of them was saying they still had one keg. They didn't say when it was going on. I would still wanna have some bottles to have for my own special occasion.

A little part of me will be bummed if they don't at least wait until the anniversary. My money's on this beer having some legs.

I had this on tap at Bailey's and didn't find it nearly as tropical/fruity as Tropical Slam. I'd place it behind both regular SH and Tropical Slam, though it is pretty damn good.

Crazy that they have that on now, since it was brewed/kegged at the end of May. I wonder why they sat on it for so long.
