What better way to cap off a fantastic DC Beer Week than with a glimpse of the future?
As a sort of finale for the weeklong celebration of Craft Beer in the District, Bluejacket will host the first ever soiree at our soon-to-open brewery. The Bluejacket Sneak Preview BBQ will be a rare and unique opportunity to visit our upcoming brewery, slated to officially open in early September.

We've been long eager to share the fruits of our team's tireless efforts, stretching back over the last few years, and come Sunday the 18th, we invite you to join the Bluejacket team for a good ol' fashion Sunday backyard BBQ. This intimate gathering, hosted by Beer Director Greg Engert and Brewmaster Megan Parisi, will feature a number of Bluejacket brews, some never tasted before, as well as a selection of backyard BBQ eats served up by your grillmaster for the day, Executive Chef Kyle Bailey. Once you've had a taste of Bluejacket, you'll then get a look at the operation itself with a guided tour of our 3 vessel brewhouse, barrel-aging platforms and 19 different fermentation vessels, all encompassed within our multi-leveled 11,000 square-foot space.

The Bluejacket Sneak Preview BBQ takes place Sunday, August 18th from 3pm until 7 pm. Tickets for the event are priced at $65 per person and include all food and beverage. Tickets are limited, so book now.

Of course, this is related to DC Beer Week: an expensive ticket is required to participate.

If anyone has a couple of those expensive tickets to spare, I'll gladly buy 'em from ya.
