There are a lot of really good and sadly departed beers on that board.

I recently had a Grey Monday and Love at Midnight from the fridge and let them sit out for about 10 minutes to warm. I liked the Grey Monday lot more then the Love at Midnight at that time.

This evening I tried a Love at Midnight at slightly cooler then room temperature from my poorly insulated office "cellar". It was my favorite of the three by far.

I may purchase a thermometer to try some more experiments. What do you guys do? Drink straight from the cellar, from the fridge but let it warm for a set amount of time? Curious to see how you try to abide by the recommended temperatures on the bottle.

I always let barrel aged stouts sit out for a minimum of 1 hour before opening.

I always like having a few sips out immediately out of my cellar (45-50 degrees), then let warm up and continue to enjoy.

I pour a medium sized glass and sip it slowly. That way you get a different experience as it warms.

Yeah, similar: small pour that warms faster THEN top up when there's a few sips left so the new colder pour mixes with the original pour.

I have a beer fridge set to around 50, but when I used to use regular fridge I would def leave bottle out for half an hour before opening.

Hard not to have a first sip right away... But I've had enough now where I know nursing it while it warms will pay off... Plus there's no rush to finish anyway.

I felt all the variants from this last BT box were a little hot compared to last years. We'll see how they taste after one and two years. Last years variants were still tasting great after a year.

I have a couple of beer fridges for beers I'm planning to drink in the relative short-term. I keep one at 55F to hold stouts and the like. Keep another at 45F for the sours/wilds and keep the last at 37F for the IPAs and Lagers/Pils. The IPAs I let warm up for 10-15min but others I start drinking right away. for 750ml that I have to stopper and finish the next day, I put into the cold fridge and just pour, let sit for 15-30min before drinking.

Startin off with some amazing sounding beers. Going to have to put in my order today but don't think I'll be able to start tasting since I have to stop by work way later. Maaaaybe one after.

I'm not really sure what to expect from the Still BT

Is the Creme Bruelay a new base beer or a blend? It's at 15.9% instead of Mash's 10ish%

Edit: also, I'd like to max on this if it ends up being good, but I won't be able to taste any of the beers until I come down in February for a massive, 1 year backlog, pickup. So, if someone can give some good, honest tasting notes, that'd be killer.

@SaisonSteve or @iLoveDonuts can you confirm what cost of shipping 16 cans in California should be? My cart is coming up showing $36, but it was only $18 last year. Is this a bug or have rates increased? Should I complete the order with the $36 shipping and email Society to fix? Appreciate your recommendations.

(note: I'm buying a 4-pack of Visions and trying to add 4 solo cans and two 4-packs from cellar)

I'm HS mix and it shows that and it shows Rue Sans instead of Rueze. Not sure what's going on, but I'm sure they will get it figured out.

Those bottles have shown under included for a few days now at least. On the email it says the new ones will be updated and added to cellar shortly.
