Mixed can was a bug for me a couple of months ago. It separates 4-packs and singles into two different boxes. I had to get Society to send me an invoice instead of doing it online.

Wow, that's a lot more beer than in the news letter. I picked a hell of a time to do dry January.

I'm very interested in tasting notes on all the stouts and barleywines. Planning for a very long fall off the wagon in February.

Doing a dry January here too, 6 days in and I'm ready for a beer.

I’m brand new to the Bruery outside of BT and joined the Reserve Society. I know all these beers are brand new, but from more experienced folks, if you were in my position, which of these stouts would you add to your seller? I love non-adjunct, but anything novel and balanced is exciting for me.

That's an excellent question and one that requires us to know what flavors you like/prefer over other flavors.

I honestly love all styles of BA stouts. While I’m not anti-sweet beer, I’m more impressed with balance and great barrel flavor as it warms.

If it helps, my favorite beers are Blessed for the brilliant combo of flavors, BCBS Anniversary for the amazingly complex barrel, WW Medianoche and Fluffernutter, BA Bananaversary for the novelty and great balance.

Also, any other tips for a newbie?

Blessed is an absolutely phenomenal beer, honestly as good or better than KBBS. That said, Bruery stouts don't usually have the viscosity that those beers you listed have. Chronology Imperial Porter (the 12 and 18) were some of the best non-adjunct BA beer The Bruery has ever made and I personally think it's because of the viscosity paired with the Bruery barrel taste.

    Tips:

    1. Don't overbuy, it's easy to do and then you have cases of beer you can't drink fast enough.
    2. Go with your gut instinct on the beer, if it sounds good, it'll probably be good.
    3. Don't listen to most people on the forums, myself included, we all suck.
    4. Enjoy it, I think the societies are great and The Bruery makes great beer.

Ah, yes we've been having some shipping logic issue. Checkout, email society and they'll refund you the rest. We're currently working on moving to weight based shipping options so it will be MUCH easier to combine everything and get best pricing available.

Damn that’s a lot of new good beers. Glad to see canned frucht back. Hoping there are multiple fruit variants throughout the year.

Got an email December 31 that it was the last day to join but if you go on their website under memberships it still lets you buy. So not sure.

I don't think it's available for purchase yet. The email says available later this month.

Seeing this in allocations surprised me, it looks absolutely killer but wasn't even mentioned in the email. I'll try to get a bottle shipped up here and try it soon

Is the Creme Bruelay only for Hoarders? The IG post made it sound like it would eventually be available to all societies, but the website codes it otherwise. Not sure if it has a wider release later or? I'm still getting used to how these things work with the Bruery.
