So I was thinking randomly about this and I have to throw in that the people at the Bruery are awesome. Not only has the beer gotten better and better every year, but they read this forum and emails and I've seen suggestions and concerns addressed with every year getting better in that regard as well.

Love to hear that. Certainly some places I know fade after expansion.

I dipped out years ago but i gotta say, i used to read these bruery threads for the fun drama and it seems over the last year or so, things have really gotten ironed out over there. Its annoying that i have to go elsewhere now for my toilet stories but im happy for them. They were my first beer club!

I think they hit growing pains hardest around 2016, but the state of things today shows they succeeded in methodically adapting and staying calm/purposed despite the torches and pitchforks.

I think most of this has to do with the people that are active now on this thread. Years past there were some real interesting things to get mad at (I see you Mr. Couldn't Get Last Slice Even Though It Wasn't Good).

Gonna need y’all to pump up the drama. Covid ruined the Three Chiefs fun and I need my fix.

What is the last day to pick up all of our 2020 beer?

In the past, they have held it until the end of Feb. I believe it's the same this year unless COVID changed that.

Sweet! GSO just came by even though their tracker was estimating Monday for delivery.

Creme Brulay went right in the fridge for tonight...

Remember the good ole days on the side garage door. My first time was in 2009 after a Society Night where they served Cherry Chocolate Rain. Oh My, it was one of the best beers to come out of the Bruery! Was a fine Brandy with decadent dark chocolate and Bing Cherries that tasted like they came from Oregon/Washington Border!
This feat has NEVER been duplicated, what a loss!

I ordered on Wed at 9:52am, got a shipping confirmation for Thursday. Thursday it is updated to say missed pickup cutoff and was switched to Friday. Today I was standing outside of my house and saw the truck drive up. So I stand there waiting for him to get out... he types into his shipping device for about a minute and then drives off. Now it says missed pickup cutoff again and delivery is switched to Monday.
Not sure what happened today but this doesn't surprise me. I have had multiple questionable experiences with this company. The Bruery is excellent, I just wish they had a better company that they partnered with for shipping (I don't know if there is a better one though...).

They did just get acquired by another shipping company, so maybe that messed stuff up?

Just want to throw out there that these 10oz Black Tuesdays are the best thing ever. Perfect size to start the night and not end the night.

Anyone else have their Mash PBnJ yet? Thoughts? To me, it tasted a bit thin and the "Jelly" component of it dominated the PB part IMO.

I thought sightly the opposite. Overall I thought it was well made for what they were going for, I just wasn't that into it.

I think the new Mash base is promising as a canvas for other interesting adjuncts though. The bourbon character seemed reduced as well though so not necessarily as much a fan of that.
