CCB cranked one out recently. I guess this means I don't have to trade heavily to try getting some of that.

mmmmm, BA Barleywines..... Mash & Grind sounds awesome, can't wait for these (weird that a non-exclusive is 2 bottles/person?)

Also, those sours sound awesome, going to have to do some serious budget doctoring this month!
    Cheers!

That's crazy, SitR peach was my favorite Bruery Sour so far (i like filmishmish and oude tart as well, but...).

I really think the Bruery is refining these puppies over the last year, I'm enjoying their sours much more this year than last year... much cleaner tastes and better fruit/lambiciness... They've come a long way since mother funker! I'm spyched for the blueberry and SitRK, i think the Bruery is quickly becoming even more of a top-tier American Wild producer!

not sure i'd go as far as to say better, but thoroughly enjoyed both peaches & kumquat. will have to revisit to decide, oh bummer! :grinning:

I think the post on facebook may be flawed, the BA barlywines are to cheap to fit standard bruery pricing(they explained this last year after a price increase for ToD). In addition mash and mash&grind are listed as the same price.

Sounds about right, i wouldn't be surprised if those were $30 (or maybe more for the coffee version)... but if it's a lighter barleywine (old richland?) maybe it's cheaper (i know, haha)?

i image the regular mash will be higher than 2 btls/person as well (if indeed it's not an RS exclusive).

    Still excited!

I think the low RS allotments may only be for beers that will only be sold at the tasting room, compared to beers that will make it into distrobution.

I really hope its a big barleywine

Just looked it up and Mash & Grind is a RS exclusive which is probably why it's 2 bottles per person. Hopefully that means 4 per Hoarders member. I am really looking forward to that one.

    – Barrel Aged English Barleywine with Portola Coffee* (Name pending)
    * = Exclusive (Reserve & Hoarders Society Only, not included in Preservation Society membership or to general release)
