I've only had a handful of Bruery beers, and of those, I consider Black Tuesday, Mocha Wednesday, and Sucre to be worth the price. Unbelievable and amazing beers. Definitely good brews for sharing, which brings down the cost; I wouldn't want 750 ml of one of those beasts all to myself.

I joined the lowest society which gets me 3 special beers per quarter, and I am counting the days until I can upgrade my membership so I can spend all of my beer allowance on their tasty beers.

One of my craft beer buds like Bruery more than any other beer maker. For me they are usually very solid but most of their big beers I've sampled I seem to find them about equal to comparable in quality to beers 30-50% less price for 750ml. If I'm going to splurge for something $20 or more a bottle, it will be a barrel aged Allagash sour. Those are spectacular and one of the few at that quality level I can actually get in MD.

They don't really do it for me (price aside). The year round offerings are good, but not anything I'd actively seek out again. I still buy a bottle each of the anniversary and Christmas beers annually. I'd love to try their stouts, but haven't had the opportunity. The sours all taste the same to me; thin, flat and acetic. Again, just not my thing.

I do give them credit for a successful business model catering to the beer connoisseur who must "have it all".

I think they are a great brewery, but like you and many others outside of CA I find myself passing by those bombers because the price is so high (here in NY anyway). They make real quality stuff, and most are strong as hell (ABV), but it's all well above average in the cost scale. Follow the advice of splitting a bottle or two so it doesn't sting as bad if you don't like a particular brew. Sucre and Black Tuesday impressed the hell out of me, but the others were also good and most age very well.

Tart of Darkness is worth the expense. It's a very solid beer. It's better than the Oude Tart and Sour in the Rye in my opinion; however, I like all the beers I just mentioned!

A buddy and I shared a 2012 Chocolate Rain, and that's after we'd had five other heavy beers. Needless to say, I "time traveled" as Dave Attell would put it.

Still one of the breweries I need to try but haven't found the right chance. A lot of bottles price point or not being a style that shoots out to me.

I have nearly traded for a couple of the weekdays in the past, most recently Mocha Wednesday but it fell through so i'm still on the hunt. I believe my friend got to try Black Tuesday recently and it's a favorite for sure.

The price point makes sense to me, but i haven't found the right beer from them, and anything I find will likely also be something I need to find someone who wants to throw down part of the cost and split with. Those beers, especially the stouts I want, are not something a person should sit back and drink a 750ml on their own with.

My favorite brewery by far I do not like everything they produce but they have some of the best beers around in my opinion. I am a new Preservation Society Member!
I'll breakout Mash and Sucre for the long holiday weekend. I plan on drinking a Bois or Melange 3 at the Playboy Jazz festival along with KBS, Wulver, and Weyerbacher Blasphemy! LET THE PARTY BEGIN!
I'll be drinking Chocolate Rain & Mocha Wednesday for my birthday.
Yes, their best beers are perfect for significant occasions.

I really enjoyed Tart of Darkness but I can not buy a 20 dollar bottle of beer. I have to split the price with someone and that sucks. Same with Ale Smith Speedway Stout. The beers i'd consume all the time are out of my price range.

The barrel aged beers are awesome. The sours are good, but some tend to be overly acidic (looking at you, Sans Pagaie) and their saisons are really solid. I hope they get back to making Saison De Lente, I think it's a lot better than Saison Rue.

They are very expensive though. No getting around that.

$20 for a 750ml sour isn't really that expensive, pretty much in line with the going rate for sours (with a couple outliers like New Belgium).

Their stouts and anniversary beers are pretty damn expensive though.

Woo, I thought I read that backwards. In which case, that would be over priced.
