The Bruery Facebook page has been teasing a new collaboration with 3 Floyds. Looks to be a dark beer of some sort. Any guesses on what the release might be?

A dark sour with BOTH acetic acid and acetone in abundance? For $75/bottle?

Since this is being brewed at FFF, I'm curious if any of it makes its way to The Bruery and/or into the HS/RS. Collaborations are generally (always?) released through the distribution network of the brewery they're brewed at, which would imply that CA won't see this beer.

Considering they named a beer "ISO:FT" this isn't completely implausible

I sincerely hope not. That joke wasn't even funny five years ago.

They posted a photo with the words Rue d' Floyd written in marker, so I'm guessing that's the name. No idea on the style though.

I don't ever recall if Dos Costas Oeste ever made it to the Bruery's taps. I know I never saw a bottle in SoCal. So yeah, I would imagine that this is going to be not one that SoCal gets.

Had beers with Patrick and Tyler at Map Room in Chicago yesterday. The name is correct (apparently Nick Floyd's choosing) and they were brewing today. It will be an imperial porter/stout that will be aged in bourbon barrels for the next year. Looking at a 2014 release.

Here's what appears to be the picture of label(s).

Rue d'Floyd is an imperial porter aged in bourbon barrels with cherries, coffee, and vanilla beans added, 14.4% ABV.

Floyd d'Rue is an imperial porter aged in rum barrels with spices added, 13.7% (?) ABV.

I love both breweries, so, despite what will certainly be exorbitant prices, ISO.
