Just got home from the Byrne Dairy in Liverpool with a bottle of Sour in the Rye, Tartof Darkness and a White Oak. Very expensive for three bottles but every bit worth the price. I was told that they are only getting a case of each. The distributor isn't sure when or if they will be getting more from The Bruery or if this was a one shot deal like they were with Crooked Stave.

Bruery is much more of a 'once in a great while' than Crooked Stave. Crooked Stave should be around with some regularity, as they are actually distributing to upstate.

When the Bruery first launched it was available in WNY. Didn't look to sell well or at least was always at Premier. High price point with often average beers, but a hell of a hype train.

I've only had White Oak and Oude Tart, which I thought both were great. But having said that I do understand your point on how they are so hyped up. Being from Syracuse makes me wish that Ommegang wasn't so widely distributed. They make great beer but because they are easy to get I feel people often over look them. But there isn't much in Syracuse or New York that has high trade value.

Was at galeville yesterday but had to pass on the bruery stuff. I've seen it a good 5 or 6 bucks cheaper per bottle in nyc. Grabbed the second to last bottle of enjoy by though so all was not lost. There were also a bunch of Gandhi bot four packs as well

I also picked up a few bottles of pumking, they are a few bucks cheaper than every where else. Figured better stock up on them now so that I can enjoy a pumpkin flavored beer in October and November. At the rate that breweries are putting that stuff out it will be off the shelves mid October

Is the BD as good as Galeville used to be? I haven't been in years but used to live off Electronics Pkwy and frequented Galeville.

I am in Richmond, VA and have all of those bruery beers and more here in the bottle shops. The SITR is usually $20-22 and Tart 17-20. I will be in Binghamton this weekend, not sure if others are near or know people there. I also have a bunch of supplication, hardywood park (including gbs and BA gbs) and Williamsburg beers. If anyone is interested in nice trades in person this weekend just message me. Cheers!
