Were you wearing a Beachwood t-shirt? J/K, I ate around 3:00 pm and my plate looked about the same.

I stood in line for about half an hour at around 2 PM thinking the food would run out, but rest assured, Beachwood had plenty. I wore a Societe shirt.

Wow I got a bunch of food on my plate. Barely could finish it all.

Either you all are really picky or I just got lucky...

I think that's the main problem, and why I suggest they reevaluate their catering side of things. Because they have really been inconsistent from plate to plate.

You have to instill in your workers/volunteers that you need exactly X amount on the plate for every plate. Doing it based on the customer and if you like their face/shirt/etc. leads to wide arrange of inconsistencies that will effect you in he long run. Pour Y number of people too much of one thing and you'll have to pour Z people less. It all effects the whole here.

Ah, yes. Because every catering company is required to weigh everything to manage portion control. Much like how restaurants always weigh every plate to ensure proper portions are followed as well.

Sadly I couldn't make it due to family emergency but sounds like another killer event. After going though a bunch of recap, I think the Bru-crew should take it as a big win the majority of the nit-picking was food at a a beer event. I get that part of the ticket cost goes towards a meal, but I would hope that is a minor priority at a beer event. I would be down for a pic-nic style event where they let people bring in whatever food they want and drop the cost.

Are you talking about the Rare Barrel or The Bruery?

    Your statement applies to both

Overall I had a good time but as a Hoarder the experience was much better last year. The separate area with food provided by Haven was super cool plus I liked that all the HS beers were consolidated to one area and it was inside out of the sun plus there were way more Hoarders this year than last. Overall the beers were solid and it was nice to be able to try lots of different beers without wasting a ticket. This was my fourth anniversary party its always a different experience every year. The Bruery has always seemed very receptive to the feedback of their customers.
