Yep. Still on tap at Beachwood Long Beach if you want to try it before buying bottles.

However, be careful. Their BBQ is highly addictive...

It went in to distribution, so it's widely available.

Twice? Or the fact that 70+ people have reviewed the beer?

White Oak was one of those beers where I had it on tap at Provisions and thought it was decent, then had it a few days later at home from the bottle and thought it was outstanding

It's a good beer, just don't sit on it too long, imo. I aged the original release a little over a year, and it didn't do much, in fact it dropped off a little. I got my 5 bottle allocation this year, and already have had 1, and plan to drink or share all of the rest within the next 6 months.

I think the B1 I had off the Bruery Cellar on the 2nd Saturday was actually better than this years batch. B1 was more vibrant with the coconut flavors and less heat. Maybe because it sat for a year but was quite good.

    Cheers!

I thought I hated Curieux until I had it with a few years on it....

I had it out of the bottle, tonight and it tasted super buttery(I just picked it up on Sun too)...It wasn't like that on tap at Provisions or Beachwood...not too happy about that...

Had it when they first put it out on tap at Provisions – I can’t imagine it would get much better with age. Hope I’m wrong though.

Couldnt agree with you more, James. Our tasting group has had two of the 09 White Oaks over the past year and we all were in heaven. Much more complex. Sweeter but not too sweet. Alcohol was much more buried. Awesome barrel nose that is totally missing from the new batch. I was smelling that empty bottle for hours. I am hoping the new batch will get to that point. Tastes like a different beer to me now.

Holy shit, thats a 1st. Someone agrees with me!! HA HA HA!!!! My wife needs to know this. Just kidding. Yeah this was the 1st beer I had with Steve that day and when you opened the bottle the aromatics completely took over. Vanilla, Floral, Coconut and sweetness. It just wasnt the same with the new batch. I did have mine on tap for the new batch but it was just missing something. Its a large beer but wasnt what I was hoping for after a great B1. For you reserve guys, I would sit on it for a year and see if some time alone does that beer wonders. Maybe the catepillar will become a butterfly again.

    Cheers!

We just got bottles of it here in New Jersey. Caught me by surprise when I saw it on the shelf. Grabbed one earlier this week. Planning on having it this weekend
