Does anyone know is they distribute in the First Coast/Jax area? Been wanting to give some of their stuff a try but I don't know if they are only in California or what.

The Bruery distributes about 30% of their total production, with the rest of it West Coast or Society members only.

You'll see a few things here or there, but I don't think any of their BA Stouts or high end sours make it out. I have seen Oude de Tart around, and it's good, but pricey. Reueze made it out as well and wasn't bad at all.

Noted, thank you. I am in St. Augustine so I will have to make a trip up there soon.

Man I saw that they shipped beer(and the estimate for shipping here wasn't ridiculous) and nearly jumped for joy but reading more into it found where they said they can only ship beer to California. Sucks, but what can you do

Yeah that's what I figured, none of the Black Tuesday kind of stuff would make it here regardless. But I honestly just dig their style and they have a reputation for some quality stuff so I wanna find what I can. My sister's boyfriend lives in LA, so I might have a mission in store for her next time she goes to visit lol

Leuken Liquors online usually has a pretty good assortment. Florida gets more of their beers than GA, so you have a shot at a few rarer ones, but as noted Black Tuesday and the big stout line does not get outside of CA at all.

Here in Orlando, we regularly get Oude Tart, Tart of Darkness, Hottenroth, and Reueze (amongst some other non sours). Never seen any stouts hit.

You have to be a member of one of The Bruery societies to have a chance at purchasing Mocha Wednesday, Grey Monday or Chocolate Rain. If you live out of state you have to have a trustee to pick them up and ship them to you. Black Tuesday is the only one of the stouts that you have a chance at purchasing without being in one of the societies. They have a drawing in November that anyone can enter for a chance to purchase a few bottles of BT. None of them hit distro though, even in California.

Hmmmmm, I know nothing of how to ship beer, but...I wonder if the previously mentioned sister's boyfriend in L.A. could possibly do it if I signed up for the society...there is some scheme-hatchery at foot in my head right now lol.

Plenty of people do it, myself included. You assign a trustee to your account, a local who either picks the beer up and ships it to you, or have it shipped within CA to them and they turn around and send it to you. Virtually every brewery who has a society/club allows this.

Leuken seems pretty awesome looking at their website, shipping is a little expensive($16) but thats to be expected shipping bottles. I may just treat myself to some of their Bruery options here soon, they have more than I thought! Thanks for the suggestion!

I may have to talk to him about this and pull the trigger. The Reserve Society seems like a pretty good deal honestly.

Ever consider trading? There are beers in Florida you can get that we cannot get in other areas. Cigar City is a great example (not sure how much you get in Jax)

You would pay shipping but when it is close, like to Atlanta, it ain't so bad.

Hit me up with a PM/BM and I can see about trading you for a Tart.

I'm just up the street from Bruery (and several others) if you're interested in trading some good Cigar City stouts, let me know.
