Have not been there, have had a bunch of their stuff. Going in December. Can not wait.
LA and Sydney are a lot a like I think.

Yep manged a rushed visit as we arrive as they were closing but the good people were kind enough to let taste a few beers as they shut down.

Cant remember the beer names but a real nice saison was the pick for me. One of the sours we had was basically just straight acetic acid and couldn't drink. A couple of the other sours were good but not great by the standard of others we drank that trip

I'm back in August/Sept, and would just like to see 2500 odd barrels to be honest. When I was at Firestone the smell of the barrel room was amazing and the thought of it still makes me firm.

So sweet, sounds worth a trip.

Bruery make a shit-tonne of limited run stuff that ranges from decent to mind-blowing. Have had a few of their high-end barrel-aged offerings which were fanatstic.

Their sours do tend to polarise, but most of the ones I've tried have been very good.

Pretty sure gilks went there recently. Hopefully he'll chime in and give you the low-down.

Been there twice now. The tasting room is pretty cool. If you've never been you should like it. Lots of malt and hops been wasted (though none in a IIPA). Good sours, nice Saisons and some very interesting high alcohol stuff as well. Everything available as a taster of about 2oz so you can try to your hearts content. They had about 30 beers on tap when I was there.

It gets pretty busy and is in the middle of nowhere so make sure you have a designated driver. No food on site either so keep that in mind.

    Food trucks, baby, food trucks
Have to echo what spicelab has said. Bruery makes interesting stuff. Not a big sour fan but find their stuff very approachable and fun to drink. Their BA beers can be sublime and memorable. Incredible business model and creativity

Food trucks are causing all sorts of greif in town, folks complaining, typical Sydney.

Food trucks are only there are certain times (generally the evenings). Haven't been there when I was but as always YMMV.

And seems that Southern Cali has changed its laws allowing easier for tasting rooms to become more restaurant-esq.

For the Sydney saga, seems they are 'competition' to bricks and mortar establishments. I wish Harts had 2 Mexican and a BBQ style food truck park it in the beer garden permanently!

Well, technically it's not in LA. OC all the way baby!

Also they seem like the kind of people that if you let them know you're heading over ahead of time they would be very accommodating.
