I did not drink the last 250ml. I've had bottles with that "snot" and I have no problem fishing it out and drinking the remainder but this was just too thick.

Send a message to The Bruery, they'll take care of you I'm sure. Best if you have pics too I'm guessing.

I have been through 4 bottles and several drafts without this issue.

friend of mine had the same issue as dcbullet this weekend. Looked like apricot puree.

The Bruery YouTube video looks pretty thick.

Also have draft and bottles that were not thick at all. Hopefully it dissuaded some from buying because I am counting on a 2nd pass sale for HS soon : D

My first 2 pours were clear and then the bottom was sludge. So clearly there was separation. Maybe some bottles get more of the bottom of the barrel, so to speak.

If I had known before hand, I guess I could have poured it into a pitcher and tried to stir it up without making it foam too much.

I did enjoy the first 2/3rds of the bottle and I'm not particularly upset. I don't need a refund. Just passing on the info as this seems the place to do that.

The bottom third of the two bottles I've had so far has been slime.

I imagine issues such as these should be taken care of in the future once they get this bad boy:
    http://bruery.blogspot.com/2014/02/expansion-plans-gea-westfalia-centrifuge-separator.html

Not sure if they'd then put beer that had fruit added back through the centrifuge before bottling. Though a bit of fruit puree isn't as unpleasant as say yeast sediment. I'm wondering if a quick flip of the Filmishmish bottle to mix in the fruit/yeast/whatever mix into the beer better may help? Like what you might do with a bottle of German hefe.

I'm also wondering if the pouring habits may change things too. I have poured every bottle in two equal pours very carefully without ever leaning the bottle back upright to disturb sediment. While it has a constancy to it, nothing I would refer to as slime. By all means don't max out though, I'll clean up what mess you leave behind.

Snot/slime from multiple sources sounds pretty clearly like Pedio is at work. Beer should be fine in the long run, but that could take months to clean up. I'm sure The Bruery will weigh in with something official one of these days, but if that's really the case, just set 'em aside and wait 'til the all-clear.

Russian River famously held onto their last 750ml batch of Sanctification for something like 6-9 months waiting for Pedio to run its course.

Call me a glassware n00b, but WTF am I supposed to do with that shot glass they gave me?

This is not snot that floats to the top. This is thick, I'm assuming the fruit. It sinks to the bottom. Thick like puree, that was a good description.

Hmmm…. In 2001 the fullerton location was on point, by 2006 they were garbage. Last year I got a "Carne Asada" burrito at their Placentia location, all I could taste is beans.

Which Location are you talking about?

It's a tasting glass. Put liquid into it and then pour out into your mouth hole.

Opened a bottle last week, looked nothing like this pour. It barely had any sediment/ thickness to it and it was fucking delicious. Just looked at 2 bottles in the light, one looked the same and the other extra thick.

I like the size, perfect tasting glass ( I think you could fit 8 oz in there if you wanted). That being said it is kinda funny coming from a brewery that only bottles 750's. I for one would be willing to pay (a little) bit more for Bruery 375's.

375's would be great, but they seem pretty set in their ways that their beers are meant for sharing with a few other people or like a wine to a dinner.
