Because alot of members who are from out of town pick up their allocations since they are here and like to have a few beers while visiting. I know i would do the same if it was me .

Basically this, tons of members are coming in from out of town, in addition to the normal weekend crowd. IMOThe Bruery has outgrown their tasting room, I was surprised how small it was when they opened it 2 years ago. Long lines for beer and allocations are now the normal, even during weeknights.

Ugh...that blows! They definitely need to expand, set up more room, tables and chairs to alleviate the long lines... Looks like I will be avoiding the tasting room after the RS/HS party...if not for the hangover...then for the huge lines that impending weekend

I've heard that the tasting room will be expanding into the unit next door. Don't know a timeline on that though.

As exciting as that possibility might be, we do not have any plans to increase the size of our tasting room. We are looking into a few projects which will address some of the feedback we've received and generally improve customer experience in our tasting room.

    Cheers,

I'm glad to hear this - my recent visits to the Bruery have been becoming less and less pleasant each time, primarily due to the crowds. My anecdotal observation is that this is mainly due to giant parties that people have there that take up tons of seating and last for hours. The lines I can deal with, but not having a place to sit can get frustrating.

Not that it's a huge deal, I'm still going to come by once a month to pick up my allocations. Quick thought, maybe open an hour early on weekends for RS/HS members only? Hey just throwing it out there....

I've never had a problem picking up my beer allocations for myself and for others. I just email them ahead of time, then head on down to pick up the beers. I've never really had to wait long at all!

I went on a Saturday night to pick up my first allocations of the year. NEVER AGAIN. Weekday mornings from here on out.

I usually go on a late lunch break on Friday around 2 when the tasting room opens. It's easy then but obviously that is not a possibility for everyone.

They need an outside beer garden area. That would be rad and help alleviate some of the congestion.

You have to remember, this is still a functional business through normal hours in an industrial parkway. While they need more room, it's not like it's news. They needed more space than the new tasting room from the get go. Remember that line to get in that first few days? daaaaaamn.

I mean, maybe they could open an off-site location that offers beer flights, cheeses and perhaps even sells bottles for later consumption. A sort of place to get your Bruery provisions shop, ya' know. Hell, they could even put a patio area in it.....

For those that commented on Filmishmish, I think it's drinking pretty well right now. Not too much sediment and pours relatively smooth; not too much thickness to it.

    Cheers!

P.S. that's my girlfriend in the pack.. she had a sip, said it tasted like vomit. I'm sad. Someone help.

Anyone encounter fruit puree in bottles of Tumescence? I just opened a bottle and it gushed like crazy, leaving a chunky residue down the bottle and in my sink.

It also tastes worse than it did on tap, which is kind of an accomplishment. Not sure how they calculated carbonation/pressure at bottling, but fruit puree in the bottles + Brett could lead to interesting results.
