I'm hoping that it will be early May. My wife and I are expecting a little one the third week of May and I'd hate to have to miss the birth of my child.

For last year I ordered multiples of everything. Smooth Criminal, nah, I'll definitely be buying only one unless it's interesting.

I love that they did this, like the end of last year. Ends having to speculate every single month.

I'm also really glad they are spacing out BT and the variants. We get Chocolate Rain off the bat, S.H.I.T. & Grey Monday 5-6 months later, and then BT and Rum BT another 3-4 months after that.

Personally based off of what I am most interested in buying a lot of/maxing out on this year, this year is spaced perfectly for me. There is no month that seems like it will be out of control moneywise for me with like 3 must-have a lot of's.

September looks like the only really expensive month, I'm sure extra care will be taken with the next batch of WC.

    White Chocolate.
    ToD w/ Cherries and Vanilla
    Mystery Beer #1

But other than that its spread out pretty good.

They updated the RS page on their website with more beer details and expected on sale dates for the year:

^^^ This kind of makes this thread pointless this year unless their dates change. There doesn't appear to be a similar one for Hoarders though.

MW, CR, and availability of 2013 sours (combined with lack of 2014 sours) make January an expensive month.

3 SitR is quite a change from last year's limit of 12 (iirc). kind of a bummer.

I'm sure there will be extras leftover at the end. Or maybe there's just a lot less of the straight version this year due to variants?

Im new to rs this year, but the limit of 3 shouldnt mater if you can get to the tasting room right? I can walk in and clear the shelf of whatever sitr they have at the discounted price if I wanted to right?

I was also surprised to see that there was no increase in the RS's Chocolate Rain allocation of 4 from last year (even though we get 1 more overall this year), and that the SitR allocation dropped by 75% from last year. Not too concerned on SitR as I have some from last year still and it hits stores, but definitely find it odd.

If my memory serves right, didn't someone from the Bruery post on here saying how this year they will try to brew more beers, but less of them - so there will inevitably be lower allocations? I have a feeling they got burned on a few RS beers that didn't sell quite as well as they had expected last year and they they don't want to end up with that problem again.

IIRC, every single beer except Grey Monday and Chocolate Rain re-appeared in the store after the allocation period without limits. I'm thinking maybe we shouldn't count on that happening again this year.

I'm guessing that they used a lot for large batch variants of ones they tested out last year. It seemed that there's far more money in the variant than the base alone.
