Hope infection rumors for Rue D'Floyd aren't true. It wasn't on the allocations email for April. They did say "Be on the lookout for another email later this month as we just might gave some other surprises up our sleeves!".

Had to move Sucre to prevent only having one beer for the month. Infection shuffle!

The email that was just sent was announcing the beers for May 2nd. Nothing about any April beers.

The beers are on sale THROUGH May 2nd. These are April beers.

So it looks like White Oak AND the 3 Floyd's collabs aren't on this initial e-mail for April and Sucre has been pushed up from May to April. This leaves May completely empty on the release calendar. I'm interested to see what the "surprises" are and if they're worth it or just some scramble to make up for releases gone bad.

Their email description of the Sucre refers to it as Bois...

"Layered with complex flavors of dark fruit, vanilla, oak, and burnt sugar, Bois is a robust ale, surely the perfect beer to mark this major milestone."

    Looks thrown together...

Please do not let the rumors be true. I'm too excited for this beer.

The main version of the anniversary beer (25% BA in the past/100% Bourbon BA the most recent year or two) always sees distribution. The variants are RS and/or HS exlusive.

Nope, all of the other Sucre variants are still presumably slated for May, they only moved the bourbon variant up.

    Well...that was/is a disappointment.

I'm surprised there wasn't an announcement in the e-mail following up with the status of previously announced selections. My only guess would be that they are holding Rue D'Floyd for the release party at the end of the month - from the January 22 e-mail:

On April 27th, our friends at Out of the Park Pizza, just a couple of miles from our brewery, will be holding a special release event for Rue d'Floyd, our collaborative beer brewed with the fine folks from 3 Floyds brewing. Details to follow.

the FFF collab was absolutely the beer I've been looking forward to the most this year. Frustrating.
