Grey Monday was pretty close. Only @ $45. Maybe this will be it?

I'd settle for money back. But no real spiritual turmoil caused.
I think your whining about my voicing my displeasure about the Bruery has caused you some turmoil yourself. Perhaps an infected beer would clear it up, I have some I can trade you. BM me if interested.

DIY mixing it at the barrel party, yeah, that needs to be real cause it was delicious.

I was at the tasting room last night and asked about this months allocations and was told that the Bruery staff were going to do a sensory eval on the beers this morning and decide what was going to be released, but that the Floyd's may have to be pushed back because they were still fermenting. Not infected.

They were brewed last year, there's no way they're still fermenting. Aging, perhaps, or possibly letting adjunct flavors better integrate, but I'd be baffled if they were actually still fermenting.

Though I'm not suicidal like some, this is still disheartening as initially I thought the Floyds would spend a year or so barrel aging. If the word is they're still fermenting how do you say "see you next year":slight_frown:

A beer that's been fermenting for about a year... wonder what that would taste like.

    Maybe bottle conditioning?

Haven't people already tasted it from the bottle? My guess is conditioning.

People also tasted Cacaonut fresh from bottles. Have you tried it lately?

Infection rumors aside, I am really hopeful that the Rue D'Floyd delay is because they want to reveal it at the anniversary party... along with beers from their special guests, 3 Floyds. Dark Lord Day (April 26th) isn't that far off from the Sucreversary and it would be absolutely bonkers if 3 Floyds showed up with Bourbon Vanilla Dark Lord. Totally wishful thinking on my part, but the timing and the reason for delaying the beer would be perfect.

Holy hell, could you imagine. I would then enroll in autopay for reserve society every year

Supposedly April 27th at Out of the Park Pizza is a Bruery/3 Floyd's event, last I heard at least.

Just checked a old RS email, in February the Bruery said April 27th would the release event for the collab and would feature "other beers from 3 floyds" as well.

I bet if they released both Floyds this morning, had several emails, called each member personally, and did an interview on BA, people would still find something to bitch about.

If Bruery started to invite guests to pour I'd be pretty happy.
