There's a case of SitR still sitting on a shelf at a local liquor store (in New Jersey). This suggests to me that they made A LOT less of it this year. No sense in making beer that no one is buying. Smaller production=smaller allocation and then all you can eat on the reoffer. Makes sense to me.

There's no way one could argue against your theory when you've got that kind of research backing you up.

Had the Mocha on cask last year at the Initiation Party. Didn't float my boat as much as I had hoped.

I take full credit for that picture (because I took it ha). I had a taste of it when I picked these up and I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to opening one up.

just wanting some clarification something. does one have to join the RS/HS to get chocolate rain? I was going to be in the area this weekend and wondered if I could just go inside and pick up some bottles. thanks.

you can get a bottle of chocolate rain if you join preservation society as well, but its not just on the shelf at the bruery.

so looking at the news letter membership for this society gets 2 bottles of CR? then are they capped at that or is one able to get an additional amount? I saw that 4 was the limit is that on top of the 2 that come with the membership?

It's been on tap at the Tasting Room for RS/HS members since last week, and may still be this weekend. Ask around when you get there and you may find someone to buy a round for you.

You get two bottles with RS membership, then can buy 4 additional bottles on top of that. Last year there were leftovers and they ended up releasing it on the store website so you could have scored plenty.
