    Nice article. Thanks for posting it.

    I had high hopes that they were thriving on cask ale sales, only to discover near the end that keg sales are also needed to pay the bills. But still, with 9 cask offerings, I'd love to spend time exploring there.

    I live 10 minutes away from Hogshead. Been going there for years. My favorite of their cask ales is Chin Wag (ESB). I wanted to brew an ESB so when I was there, I saw Robert Bell (Head brewer) sitting at a table and walked up and introduced myself and told him I wanted to brew Chin Wag. He pulled out a piece of paper and wrote out the recipe for me right there. Tells a lot about the character of a place.
