It's zoned C-MS-8, i.e. up to 8 stories....hopefully this will more than finance the new place. Good for them, they worked hard and for a long time for this.

This news is really disappointing. Living only 4 blocks away, this was my go-to neighborhood craft beer bar. As others have stated, prices were sometimes on the higher side but you also didn't have to deal with the crowds that some of the other more well known craft beer bars attracted (FRTH, Freshcraft etc.). This was the first craft beer bar since I moved to Denver where I got to try PtY and attended their BCBS event. There was always a very solid tap list and the food was pretty good as well. My liver will definitely miss the Cheeky Monk.

This place will become the go to spot in denver. Had beers with a co-owner and they are really going to elevate expectations of places in Denver IMO. Game changing stuff they are doing both beer and food.
