    What if you completely missed the point to my entire post and then asked a totally unrealistic and absurd question???

    @lordofthemark did an excellent job responding though so I will just leave it at that.

    I did say standard fare. But I'll expand on that by pointing out that 312 and honkers ale and a few others have pretty low ratings on BA. Now Their special releases, ex. BCBS, Matillda, are awesome.

    I drink what's good beer (IMO) regardless of who owns it. I love "drink local" mentality but not going to drink a shitty mediocre beer BC it's local. Fortunately there's tons of local options around to avoid drinking bad beer just because of its location. Ill take a bcbs any day as well

    I guess I'm kind of backward to the rest on this thread... Generally if I saw that a brewery I highly respected was owned by a macro company, that'd actually make me feel better about the macro than worse about the old favorite. And that's exactly how I feel regarding the Unibroue/Sapporo connection.
