Has anyone been able to try any of their stuff? We started distributing for them and was able to go see the brewery and try their whole line. Everything was pretty good. I expecially liked the Grandma's Pecan. The Double Trunk IPA is a pretty big beer at 11% or so, and it doesnt taste that way at all I thought.

Ive seen some of their kegs pop up around the South Bay a bit

I had one of their porters at Library Alehouse and I though it was good. I guess they are canning now so I'm stoked. The south bay is killin it in the LA county brew game.

16oz 4pks ... No clue on the price, but I would think between 10-12 bucks a 4pk in stores

I have tried (and added  ) most of the beers listed on their place page. They make solid stuff. I actually liked the Blood Orange Juicebox one but the new Raspberry Wheat one was a bit disappointing.

Beverage warehouse got them in this AM, I think $10.99 for the trunk and pecan ($?). Picked up the Trunk to support the home team, will try tonight.

They had a six beer draft event in the Central Valley (Visalia) a week ago... Double Trunk was nice... thought, overall, that the beers were solid, but Dbl Trunk was the clear favorite with the Kolsch 2nd.

Only had their DIPA on cask once. didn't care for it. But I don't really care for cask beers. So I really shouldn't judge the taste of their beers when casked. It seems like they are taking the regular beer styles and putting a twist in it. IPA's have something different about them. Like they want to be like like a mainstream brewery with a little of the Bruery in them. Like inbetween Smog City and Monkish.

Whoa, dude - where's my car? Bold move to make your first released beer a IIpa that is almost 11%! Christ, i bought it and starting drinking it thinking is was in the 7-8% range, than it started going to my head and I checked the can, kinda makes the price not that bad. I liked it, but that is not going to be a go to just based on the high alchol content. Nice aroma, not to sweet, even drinks well straight fromthe can. Like the label art, even the awful name of the brewery is growing on me.

edit: I obviously didn't read the OP'S post that closely as he obviously states the ABV of double trunk... LOL

Hopefully, they'll open a tasting room some day at their brewery... they can then join the other South Bay breweries as part of a South Bay Brewery Crawl.

according to Henry at Monkish (this was a while back) they're supposed to be opening a tasting room at some point. I swear I say Jay and his beard every time I go to any beer spot in Torrance
