I had a couple of pints there this afternoon. I wouldn't say they were bad but I wasn't overly impressed, it's been a while since I've been really happy with the beer they've served me. What does anyone else think? I'd be interested to know what people think of their other establishments.

I had a couple of cracking pints from there. Like all the reviews I read though, the lady behind the bar wasn't all that friendly.

We visited Euston Tap a few months ago. It was a Monday afternoon around 5:00pm (quitting time). The place was surrounded by young professionals all holding their pint glasses. We had a hard time getting into the place. I didn't recognize any of the beers on the menu. The scene was a bit too intimidating so we walked across the street to the Royal George, found a table, and had a pint of Bermondsay Best (delicious).

I haven't been in the Euston Tap much over the last year, only twice since the end of July, but I was less impressed with the cask beers than I have than on previous visits. Acceptable, but not excellent. I was slightly surprised really, as I have always rated the place pretty highly for beer quality. Perhaps I was just unlucky.

The first couple of times I went the the beer was very good. The last few times it's been decent but that's all.

I wonder if this is connected with them having more establishments in different parts of the country?

Not just around the country: In London they have The Resting Hare, The Pelt Trader, The Holborn Whippet and the Waterloo Tap in addition to the Euston Tap.

Beer has been fine at both Euston Taps and Holborn Whippet of late, premises are looking a little lacklustre though. Prices are still good in relation to some other establishments in town.
