I'm dumbfounded as to how I've yet to try Sixpoint Resin in all my years of craft beer.

I'd have to be still actually searching for stuff for it to elude me. Searching too hard for beer annoys me.

I'm pretty much stupefied that I tried ANY beer before you did. Oh wait, I drank that Resin on vacation in Florida...nevermind....

Maple Bacon Coffee Porter. I think I have better odds of spotting Bigfoot than landing a bottle or can of this.

Well, either way, I guess what I'm saying is you have better choices to select from living in Cali. So, enjoy!

That's an okay beer but you don't need to waste time. There is equal or better beer.

Comparable to Pliny The Younger would be Drakes Hopacalypse...harsh bitter, unrefined garbage just like Pliny.

    For
Pliny the Elder sucks in bottles...On tap it is better, but the bottling is bad, it tastes bad, not the same....I mean I can buy them fresh as can be and can tell ya, they suck...have fun scratching your head wondering what it is that is so great about it. The bottles suck, it's the way they are overly filtered, no flavor, nadda...just bitter hoppy extract twang.

I'm looking for a good Saison...a really good one comparable to Dupont... Also always looking for a real authentic American made Doppelbock....I drink styles not brands or fads. It's all about the beer, not the hype.

This thread is an encouragement for beer trading...

Being European most Americans aren't easy to find or pricey, but I can get my hands on cheap and good Belgian stuffs.

It's a shame you don't get Troegs on the West Coast, but Troegenator is a really, really good doppelbock.

About two hours from Westbrook....and I've tried...no one seems interested in "shelf beer".

my CT homies already know the "big 3" that are always elusive...

...unless you got a guy who knows a guy who met a guy who's dog's hair groomer's son works as the receiving manager in a mom-and-pop liquor store.

    Logsdon- peche and Brett
    St Adairius - west ashley

For whatever reason I always seem to kiss peche and Brett by like minutes and both trades I've had for west ashley haven't worked out. One time someone backed out, the other time the bottle broke in shipping. One day I'll get both though

Not a huge get, but Sixpoint Resin is always available before or after I'm somewhere that has it.

Most Carton stuff. I find when theres releases like the irish coffee/churro thing and i drive up to an hour away and its all gone by then same day.

Also big beers like Curmudgeon and Insanity and Weyerbachers Quad. The shop i go to wants way too much for even a single and my beer budget is usually low when i see them.
