Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. It was my first venture into craft. The hops were something I'd never experienced. I never looked back.

Have loved and lost many over the years but a staple remains. Sierra Nevada Bigfoot.

The first beer that really rang my bell was Lowenbrau back in the mid 70's. It's was probably all the "Steak and Lowenbrau" commercials that influenced me to try it.

Being an old coot, I have two beer ages, before and after craft. Before, it was Molson Brador, which was labeled as a malt liquor. We would bring cases of it from Windsor back home to Detroit. After discovering craft, definitely Bell's Two Hearted. I'll never forget having that on draft for the first time.
