Ugh, yes. If people are going through 6 times and there are smaller limits, they aren't going to get as much without investing a lot more time....thus smaller limits would be helpful....

I think he's saying that your idea of easy to get being that you happen to have friends who got you it, doesn't really equate to being easy to get for everyone.

Ahhhh gotcha. Totally understand that. It was definitely easy for me and I got lucky this time but that's definitely not the case all the time. Wish it was but unfortunately it's not.

Not at all. I have a good friend in Chicago who takes care of me all the time, and I do the same for him. My brother has lived in CO for 15+ years now. We swap stuff all the time. I have several repeat traders on here and we watch out for stuff for each other all the time. All of these arrangements are for drinking, not flipping. It's great, and it's wonderful to have family and friends that get into it like I do.

That doesn't necessarily make something easy to get or imply that they should be able to. I have multiple friends in Chicago. None of them could get off work to get Benthic in time. It depends on people's profession (or lack of one in some instances). Obviously many on here have flexible careers that allow for working from a bar and drinking during the day. That would get my ass fired. So It goes. It's great you got friends to hook you up, but kinda getting on others that they couldn't because of work probably doesn't sit well with some.

BTW, feel free to send this lowly FIB some Java BA Ten Fidy and/or some BA River North Stouts since I'm sure they are easy to get. I'm totally cereal.

No worries man. All of my other friends had to work as well. However, one of my friends moms lives right by the Jewel there and is a regular at HA. She headed over at open and snagged some bottles and drank some beer in the taproom.

Totally agree on just about all points there. I was debating on going up to Longmont for the Java release but had a dentist appointment and decided against it. I also try not to go too far out of my way for OB beers anyway. Not a huge fan of the River North BA beers either. Just a personal preference. Also, if my statement(s) didn't sit well with others, I could give 2 fucks. That is all.

 

Currently enjoying a draft pour of Benthic at the Balmoral tap room....

 

Actually just got some Tryptych cans from another friend this week. Haven't drank them yet but looking forward to it. I'll definitely keep @flat_lander in mind for sure. Sorry to hijack, carry on...

It was definitely easy for me and I got lucky at the same time. My friends mom who got the bottles probably drinks more Half Acre beer than any other nerd on this butt hurt forum.
