Still 411 people trying to checkout for a sold out event.

 

So can you screen shot your place in line and when you show up to the taproom on Friday convince people that is your reservation in line? "I'm sorry, you are going to have to let me in. This clearly says I should be #5 in line."

 

I had the page opened and refreshed when it wouldn't even let me open the front page of the ticket site. Kept refreshing just to get into a line where it told me it was sold out. I see why now a lot of people don't do this. See you guys Friday!

 

Half Acre posted the below on Instagram. They haven't updated the post yet, so it isn't officially sold out. But yeh, quite a mess.

Today at 11am, the link in our profile for Benthic presale goes live. We will edit this post if presale sells out. Keep in mind, the site may say SOLD OUT when packages are, in reality, still in carts. Don't trust it until we say it. Pick up starts Friday at our BALMORAL brewery and runs until 12/1, with the exception of Thanksgiving Day. No proxies allowed. Please read all the information provided at the link before purchasing. I got in at 11:18 finally. Success.

 

Never has a cartoon captured a mood so well...

 

Sat in waiting room for 10 min at #26, it finally dropped to 8 at end, let me in, clicked purchase, timed out to a blank page. I hit refresh and it actually went through, landed on a confirmation page with my ticket. Quite a mess but narrowly pulled it out!

 

I spoke too soon, don't know how I got thru, but there was a moment where it added straight to cart (no queue) and then it took a couple times to successfully pay. Site was a disaster.

 

Are we having fun yet, everyone?!

 

Why would it let you add to cart if it was sold out? Sometimes this means every single ticket is in someones' cart, but checkout has not yet been completed. If they don't complete checkout then those tickets get released back into the pool. If that is the case the only way to get a ticket is to hope you become #1 in line the second a ticket becomes available. Very unlikely, but possible a few of those people end up getting lucky

That... or the ticketing site is stupid and lets people queue for a sold out event ... lol

edit: It is like Dark Lord Day every year, you have people who give up and say it sold out in 5 seconds if they don't get tickets in the cart on the initial refresh. Then hours later people are still getting Group E tickets.
