Anybody know if Navaja is popping up this week?

 

What do you mean by popping up? Do you mean is a fresh batch being brewed and hitting retail? I don't think I've seen stores posting yet about any fresh batches hitting the shelves this week, but it's only Tuesday AM at this point. Not sure where you're located, but it's been readily available in the city ever since first being released awhile back.

 

Navaja is a good one. Looking forward to picking up some GoneAway soon.

 

Yes a fresh batch. All the stores in the suburbs in my neck of the woods sell out the same day they receive it. Does the Binny's in the city still have some?

 

Yes, and so does Whole Foods I believe. It is easy to find. I'm assuming it's been readily available at the HA shop as well, but I haven't been there in awhile.

 

Haven't been to a Binny's in a week or two (sacrilege!), but I've seen Navaja at Whole Foods and some smaller beer shops in Chicago.

 

Just to be clear, you are asking the store if they have any? If just going by what's on the shelf, they may be keeping it in the back.

 

I know Whole Foods Schaumburg had some Najava as of last Friday.

 

Its probably too late to give a full opinion of the Big North but it was incredible and ridiculous and the pours were insane and I almost died.

 

Apparently distributors are sitting on the GoneAway inventory to try to move more Vallejo for another week. Annoying.

 

Well, think of it this way--What were the odds that beer distribution would be the one thing Chicago did right?

 

Ha. I shouldn't be surprised. It's better than actually shipping it to Binny's, only to have them tell me "Yeah, we have it in the back, we just can't sell it for a few days." I believe that's what happened with Vallejo earlier this year. I did my part and picked up a 4-pack of Vallejo to send to my NJ buddy.

 

I helped out by picking up 2 packs of Vallejo today...

Picked up GoneAway at a Jewel in the burbs so it's out there.

 

I have an unopened Heyoka in Mint Condition is that worth anything? Collectors Item?

Gone Away was just distro'd within the week yet the canning was done on 8/15. Kind of disappointed that a local beer is already nearing a month old. Haven't cracked mine open yet but it's a favorite of mine
