The line winds into the brewery itself a la the Big Hugs release. Believe me, I'd love to be lying, as it would mean I didn't come all the way here for nothing.

Thanks to all for the reporting today. Saved me a long trip from work and the chance of being fired.

Hell, if you were lucky and already got your Benthic, might as well head to Binny's now...

Unless there's something significantly different between what they poured at Big North and today, I don't see this at all. I mean, it was definitely very tasty at Big North, but an all timer? I didn't get that at all.

Honestly, line wasn't bad. If you shower by open, you got Bottle.

    1) The line for Big Hugs is always crazy, Benthic is way better.

    2) Yeah, it's not Prop '13th, but it's still one of the better coconut stouts I've had.

I love HA, probably my favorite chicago brewery, but why bother with a release when there's less than 1,000 bottles? Just put it on the shelf and tweet its for sale.

I wasn't talking about the line, just that it's not in the same class as all time great beers. Obviously different palettes are different but that's just me.

Ithe difference is the base. It's not BCS, which on its own is an all timer.

But it nails the coconut/barrel flavor better than almost any Stout I've had outside of the goats.

Because it's the first BA Stout they've ever had for sale in a bottle?
