Mine are doing pretty damn well this year (3rd year Fuggles, Eastern WA). The bines are over 10 feet and really leafy. I fertilized them with fish fertilizer this year and they are responding well.

I'll post pics later. You do the same mmmmmkay?

Nth year Cascades, where N > 10. Healthy and happy, so far. This weeks warm weather has been favorable for rapid growth. I put compost on them every fall and typically some 16-16-16 sometime during the summer.

2nd Year Cascades never came up. Samtiam was slow to pop out. Tardif, Cerara, Blisk, Shinsuawase are going well, they were up to a few feet, multiple bines. Chinook (3rd year), Brewers Gold, and AlphAroma are going nuts, over 7 feet tall each, multiple bines. Chopped it all back last week. Digging them all up tomorrow and moving them to the new house, hoping they make the transplant well and keep growing through the summer. Not expecting much of a harvest this year with the late move. Putting them all along the south wall. Will build a trellis on the North side of the house along the fence next year for 3-4 more varieties. I'll post pix in a few weeks once they are in and growing up again.

I have Sterling, Nugget, Cascade and Mt. Hood. All are 3-5 feet tall. Sterling and Mt. Hood are both second year plants, the other two are first year.

A bunch of Cascades are anywhere from 2-4' tall, then I have some new Northern Brewer and something else(damn old brain) that I just planted this year. They're about 6 inches to 1 foot. Everything here got set back by some late March freezes and another freeze 2 weeks ago.

I have three Centennial, two Cascade, Zeus, and Chinook. The all came up and are growing like crazy. I have thinned them all out on two separate occasions and the shoots keep coming up. I top dressed them with compost and organic fertilizer in early spring. Looking forward to wet hopped beers already!
